He made his choice. We can assume he's on more money BUT gets a relegation on his CV.

I was at the Derby 0, West Ham 5 game, and it was ultra-clear that the home fans don't rate him one bit

Griffin represents a sad aspect of football today. The lack of loyalty and respect for supporters. Despite the reality of the all consuming temptation of the premiership millionaires' club, there still exsists lifelong affection and respect for any player who shows dedication and real passion for 'his' club during what is quite a short career.
Terry Conroy, Denis Smith and the dearly missed John Ritchie are three obvioius examples of faithful servants to our club that will always find a warm reception wherever they go in the city for life. Indeed, in big John's case the genuine love for him will continue beyond his life and extends to his family with the same humble respect we always had in his prescence.
If Andy Grffin had honoured the agreement he had been seen to have made (these days players cannot excuse their own PR) he would have not only been most warmly welcomed as a returning hero, but affection for him would have been guaranteed despite any ups and downs on the pitch. The sad fact is that now, despite many great moments in a Stoke shirt including the best goal he will ever score, against Coventry in the fog, he will have to get used to hearing the sound of tutting, piss-taking and sucking of teeth wherever he goes. The best public reception he can hope for is when his career as a professional footballer is forgotten which it now will quickly for the sake of everyone's embarassment.
These are the choices.

I've NEVER booed an individual player. Ever.
If Griffin comes back, i'll boo him because he's an absolute cuntflap. It's shameful the way he treated this club (the one he purported to "love"), and for that he deserves nothing but contempt. I'm extremely pleased to see him making a wanker out of himself in the Premier League, and look forward to giving him a colourful reception when he comes here next year with Barnsley or whoever (because Jewell will fuck him off sharpish).

I'm surprised RAF ( aka "H" ) hasn't "trademarked" that one either, as he uses it so often - he quite likes self-promotion, even though it only goes to show that his vocab is made up almost entirely of very childish little words ;D
