It could happen anywhere.
We only seem to hear about stuff like this in London at the moment because the media have jumped on it.

Knife crime is out of control down there. Between April and June 1580 victims of knife in London compared to Greater Manchester which is in second place with 520.

Hang on... it's not that I don't think S-o-T is great but Hanley on a Friday or Saturday night is one of the most violent places I've ever been, same with Castle sometimes too. There are a lot of nasty aggressive people round here unfortunately so I don't think the pot's got any right to call the kettle black.

We have no such things in Oakamoor on weekend. We did how ever see a fight between a hedgehog and rabbit the other night. The hedgehog won on points

Knife crime statistics are fucking scary to say the least.
These people need putting down, akin to a dangerous dog.

One would think that the advisers to HRH the Queen would discuss with her about leaving London. I would put her up if she was struggling to find somewhere to get her head down. Even more so if she was to bring the rather delightful and sexy princess Ann with her

To be fair London has a population of over 6 million people (what the real figure is doubt we will ever know) but some parts are really bad. Some of the estates are horrendous even in the nice areas. I went to visit a friend in Upton Park the other night - that is a real *hit hole!

Oakamoor would be a great place for Her Majesty to live- She'd be able to pop down to Cheadle to do her shopping and mix with all the other inbreds

Knife crime is out of control down there. Between April and June 1580 victims of knife in London compared to Greater Manchester which is in second place with 520. As the number of people living in London is about 3.5 times that of Greater Manchester, those figures would appear to represent a similar proportion of the local population. It'd be interesting to see how it stacks up in the smaller towns and cities. Nottingham, for example, was reported to have the highest level of gun crime "per capita" in the UK.
