just after a bit of help from any of you beefcakes out there...
been sculpting the guns for a while now and whilst I have seen improvement just wanna know what are the most effective ways of growing your biceps?
goin on hol soon and wnat them to be bulging by then

I do quite a bit. Bicep curls are good(Probably the best for biceps ), hammer curls work your forearms however and these supplement each other.Press ups are also great for definition, if that's what your looking for. The shoulder press is good too as this will stop your body from becoming disproportional , you don't want big arms but small shoulders etc. If you want to tone up- do lots of reps with a lighter weight. If you want to bulk up your arms, do a small amount of reps with a heavier weight. Work out 4 times a week, and you should see progress within a month . The days of resting are very important as when you work out you tear muscles, resting repairs them and makes them bigger. If you ache , that's GOOD, as this is simply the tearing of the muscles and it will wear off within a couple of days. Never swing either, as this is not proper form and you can injure yourself. A weight in which you're doing 3 sets of 6 is great for bulking up, and if you're really pushing for that last rep, it shows that it's actually working. If you're toning, 3 -5 sets of 15-20 reps should suffice.

cheers for that bogdan, should i do biceps each workout of the 4 days of the week, ive been doing a different muscle group every day like but ive got more time on my hands now so thinking of upping it to several muscle groups a day.
ive been working hard like but want to see results quicker

However if you want the biceps to be worn the most, then every day of the 4 days a week would suffice. If you're aching too much though, i'd just go onto a different muscle group that day. If you want the whole package though. A schedule such as this would be good. This would involve working out for 6 days a week. monday - back and biceps and abs tuesday - chest and triceps wednesday - legs and abs thrusday - forarms and shoulders friday - biceps and abs saturday - chest and triceps and possibly legs Protein REALLY helps improve results too mate, so i'd suggest a protein shake(To be taken after workout) , it really worked for me as it shortens your recovery time, repairing muscles quicker.
