In the days of ever increasing petrol prices can anyone answer this for me, How come that Tesco petrol in Longton and Meir is £1.20 a litre but in in Trent Vale its £1.17 a litre. I presume that they get all their petrol from the same supplier so how come 3p difference only 3 mile down the road. If im a betting man i reckon its because the Meir and Longton branches are much buisier than Trent Vale so Tesco hope people just call in for their petrol after shopping without really noticing the price. Tesco are like my arse, They are just rip off merchants and I really hope they go down the shitter. Rant over

Because the A50 is busier than the A34 Yes youre probably right, They just seem to charge different prices dependant on which shop you go in. I live on Meirhay and there is a small Tesco on that estate, You find a lot of the food from there is dearer than the one in Longton. They just piss me off, I now go to either Asda or Morrisons which is a lot further away and i seem to get a lot more for my money, Tesco can bollocks.

What fuel stations do is charge as much AS MUCH AS THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH in a particular area.
It's nothing to do with cost cutting - it's about price-FIXING.
What I want to know is why is diesel 15p+ more than petrol when it's cheaper to produce?
I was filling my diesel vehicle with veg oil but they keep hiking the price of that. Time for an arrangement with my local chippy.
Costs me £200 a month just to get to work. Paying enormous amounts of tax for fuel out of my wages that have already been taxed.
What is the fucking point, I wonder??
We are being ass-fucked everday of our shitty lives.

This site will tell you the cheapest fuel in your postcode area:www.petrolprices.com.
It's all to do with your postcode and they 'fix' price accordingly

Why on the continent is diesel about 10-15 parts of a euro (dunner know what they are called) cheaper per litre than petrol, but here diesel is about 10-15p more per litre than petrol.

In true Hudsongod style I need some stick on banners so I can go to all Tesco petrol stations and put these over the board that shows the prices! The banners need to read "Robbing Fucking Cunts" I already have the necessary clothing for the job ;D

Petrol in Crewe is generally 3p a litre dearer than in Stoke. The reason I understand is ASDA. I think ASDA are the biggest retailer of petrol and therefore are the keeenest in price.
Any stations near to an ASDA petrol station have to price competitively. ASDA in Crewe does not sell petrol therefore the garages have more leeway to price higher.
The biggest robbing cunts' are this government with its fucking taxation policy.

Apparently Tesco have a petrol pricing policy whereby they pitch their price midway between the cheapest and dearest of their 2 nearest competitors.

Get a classic diesel engine car - peugeot citroen - and fill it with used veg oil from your chippy. It's what Diesel invented his engine for before mysteriously disappearing over a boat on the way to sell his idea. Not the shitty fuel that is named after him.
Failing that, a national one day strike by everyone. We have the power folks.
There's 600 of them and 60,000,000 of us.
