Depends what you had..
Mixed grill is £9.50.. most prices for normal pub food is around £7-10.00

try the Hand and Trumpet gastro pub in Wrinehill (betley) , should just be able to manage that budget there , its a really nice gastro pub frequented by Liam Lawrence and Ricardo Fuller . my kid brothers a chef there , very very good food www.brunningandprice.co.uk/hand/menu/

The Bakers Oven in Buckfastleigh is ace. Tell Brian I recommended it and you may get a free drink out of him.

Pasta Piziaza on the high street in Stone is okay, usually very busy at the weekend and probably struggle within your budget.
Loads of choice for India food in Stone - Shaffers about the best.
Food at the George & Dragon in Rough Close is good - Swnnerton Arms okay.
Trentham - the new Frankie & benny's at Trentham Gardens is nice.

I like the draycott arms
I had chicked and rack of ribs for £8 it was really nice
before had the mixed grill and that is £12 and that had everything on it
cooked really nice

the hollybush inn in salt is nice. proper home cooked country pub food......
or if ur feeling a bit posher try the swan with two necks/heads what ever it is called!!!
