There's a bloke I regularly saw last season with HIGGINBOTHAM on the back of his Stoke shirt. He's worn this all season, even though the Higster buggered off in September. He didn't look bothered by it but it got me thinking about the fickleness of players' loyalties or how heroes quickly fall and how fans can be caught out. Ever worn a player's name to regret it sooner than later? Bangoura is one name that immediately springs to mind .

Bircheshead - that's okay if you spend your life sitting on your arse eating pies.

Its a regular pattern for me, that whoever goes on the back of my shirt generally leaves the club very soon. Tweed Kavanagh Thorne O'Connor Parkin this season (he could well leave) i could name more aswell, all left within a few months or so of me getting them on my shirt, and parkin well at least hes survived a season on the back of my shirt might get Pulis Jr on the back of my next shirt, heres hoping

I had Higginbotham on last year's top, two weeks later he left, so I put it on the hot wash, made it go pink and got another one. However, I chose to have Parkin on me new one.

I knew someone who called there little son Stein after Mark Stein.
Then i think he soon forked off Chelsea after that.
He didnt half get some shit about that.

I've never had a player's name on my shirt.
Players come and go, S.C.F.C is forever.

Shtaniuk 5. Had it 3 times since Sergei played and after he left. Never goes out of fashion, one of my favourite ever players fans favourite in general didn't leave us for the money didnt jump ship to a rival club A good legacy and ticks the right boxes. I now expect the News of the World to reveal he's boning Abramovich whilst wearing Vale shirt and a pair of Cardiff socks....

Theres a bloke who sits in front of me at the brit.
Ever since the first year it opened, his player who he chose has lasted 2 weeks or not even made the season opener. Its a running joke, i keep trying to get him to put Buxton on his next one but as of yet no joy.
