Hardly a shock after last night Bring back Alex Neil and free up a play off place for someone else 👍 Really I’m pretty shocked and coming quite hard on the heels of Rosinior(sp?) at Hull I really don’t know what these clubs would deem satisfactory. I certainly wouldn’t have had either of them down as promotion favourites and think they’ve both had as good a season as they ought to have been expecting both deserved at least one more crack at it.

I think with Rosenior they had a replacement in mind. Agree re Norwich next season. Gone are the days of outplaying them at this level and Pukki pops up with a winner.

Norwich are in serious trouble next season. Why? Is it the aging squad or lack of money and now below Ipswich ?

We didn’t get nearly relegated because of the lack of parachute payments. We spent TONNES of money in the years leading up to it and finished in similar positions.

Lots of clubs are gambling on promotion - Leeds definitely are and seemingly got lucky. Leicester also are running FFP very fine and would have been in major trouble if they didnt get promoted.
Norwich have consistently been too good for the Championship and way too shit for the Premier League.
Its actually even more amazing what Ipswich have done with 2 promotions in a row up against 100M clubs.
To be honest as a real football fan, gotta be happy at what Ipswich have achieved and also Luton last season. Some small proof that money doesnt always buy happiness

Hard to trace their history as I am pretty sure that they disbanded and reformed under the name Perennial Tinkering Tossers at some point during that period?

Some small proof that money doesnt always buy happiness Leicester escaped a points deduction this season as the EFL doesn't have the power to punish clubs for Premier League breaches. They lost 215 million over the last 3 seasons in the Prem before relegation (way over the 105 million limit) so it'll be interesting if they start next season with a points deduction as I think it's a real possibility. Still it's a joke they aren't punished, then walk the league while most over sides stick to the rules. WBA are the other that could be in trouble if they don't go up but I thought they'd sorted a few things out.

They might appoint Allegri, who's always wanted to manage in England.

Why? Is it the aging squad or lack of money and now below Ipswich ? Ageing squad, the parachute payments stopping. It nearly relegated us. Actually it could end up worse for Norwich. We made the mistake of thinking we could get promoted in the first year but sacked Rowett mid season and started to downsize to manage our budget. If you keep going for it in years 2 and 3 and still don't get promoted you are really in the shit. If Norwich haven't managed their budget on the basis they might be in the Championship for 4 or more years they are in big trouble.
