Now the South Stand is being split and a nomans land in the middle.

What will the new ground capicity be ?

I cant remember if we sold out completely against Leicester or waht the crowd was that day.

I think there are planned to be only four or five rows of seats and a new fence seperating the home and away fans. That's only a hundred or so seats that are un-available.

eacg row of the split would be 38 seats, so 4*38 =152 9assuming 4 rows of seats for seperation

club website lists capacity at 28,384

28,384 - 152 = 28,232 .

however there is also 2 rows netted off between the Seddon and Boothen in the corner, don't know if this is going too

Like ID says, the OS gives the capacity as 28,384.

The "capacity crowd" against Leicester was 26.6k with a whole block (900 - 1000 seats?) in the south stand netted-off, as well as the restricted view seats behind the dugout (At 40 quid a go, I don't suppose they'll be leaving those empty on Boxing Day!). This suggests that the capacity next term will be something approaching 27.5k.

The record crowd against Everton was 28,218, so even accounting for 300 - 400 netted-off seats, we seem to have lost a few hundred somewhere since the stadium opened. ???

I think the club over-did the segregation for the final day just to be on the safe side, plus theres apparently a new fence which wasn't there in May. Capacity should be a lot closer to 28k next season as there should be a lot less seats netted off?
