Gis a job, I can do that, I can walk in straight lines..... Grew up watching this and classics like Scully. Bleasdale was/is a genius and Bernard Hill played a magnificent role bringing that character to life with the accompanying message.
Sad news and may he rest in peace 🙏

From Yosser to King Théoden, I knew Yosser from my younger days...I knew King Théoden from my later years but fook...As a Lord of the rings fan I never knew they were the same person! RIP King Théoden

Yosser Hughes must rank as one of the most instantly recognizable characters from 80's television.
Bernard Hill lent the character a genuinely magnetic, unhinged presence.
RIP.

Played Stoke on Trents very own Captain Smith in The Titanic. RIP Yossa. Indeed. A key role in one of the biggest grossing movies of all time. But to me and many of our generation he was, is and always will be 'Yosser Hughes'. Did 'Yosser' used to slap the nut on people? I think so. I am sure it let to an increase in head butting among my form mates at school! RIP Bernard Hill

RIP Isn’t that Scully in the first scene. Remember it from the early 80s. Great actor was Bernard Hill. RIP
