Is this the same as putting a handkerchief in your back left jean pocket?
I had a cold when we played Fulham away and got no end of grief in Old Compton Street.

Must be an old fisherman’s saying. I once had a fisherman ask me if I wanted to suck his friend. I take it, it was a joke about a sweet but he kept a straight face so just said “no thanks.” and looked away. Bit odd on the coasts. Never trust a man who dangles his tackle in the water for a living Colin. Sounds much like my mate who went to Ibiza as Steve and came back as Stephanie after spending a week with a salty old sea dog. 🫣 Yes strange lot Bill. Always dreamt of living on the coast but don’t fancy being caught up in a fisherman’s tackle if you know what I mean could easy turn into Stephanie or a coleen.
