Mmm, not that keen on Klopp……but if he did replace Southgate I’d be more than happy.

So what’s actually happened?

So what’s actually happened? Salah was waiting to come on as sub. Liverpool blew half a chance on the break and Salah turned to Klopp, with a look in his eye as if to say I’d have scored that… … suddenly renowned West Ham fan Kris Akabusi stood up in the crowd. He saluted Salah, as if to say well done sir - but his hands weren’t raised. The reflection from klopps teeth suddenly went a few shades darker as the smirk from salah quickly disappeared and a dawning realisation of what was about to happen… I don’t know what happened but I’m guessing this is a possible explanation if we were in 2010 (?) oatcake territory and not on the main board.

So what’s actually happened? He fell out with Salah on the touchline because he wasn’t ready to be subbed on. Klopp is well within his rights. Salah has always been a right surly fucker when he’s subbed for having a bad game

I feel sorry for JK but not for Salah or Liverpool. JK should have stood down when the announcement was made, and he would have been mentioned in the final annals right next to Shankly.
At first the eulogies were great, but the players have stopped playing for him, and now he will be remembered as the manager who failed in all competitions.
I can see them becoming the next Manure...can't see Slot doing much for them, and he will be gone within a year or two. Then they'll appoint Gerrard and he will be a disaster as their manager. Then they'll appoint anyone to get them out of trouble, maybe even a Dyche type of manager.

I don't mind Klopp.
Yes, he says some daft things sometimes but it's his job to get any benefit he can for his club.
Seems a top bloke and good luck to him in the future.

Besides he "only" won the league and the CL once each. "would of completed that had Seville not beaten them in the final"...that's a bit like saying Stoke would have won the FA cup had Citeh not beaten them in the final, which is true, but doesn't tell the story that we never looked like winning that day. Sevilla beat Liverpool because they had the better team!

I think him winning the league only once is a bit of a blight against his name.
He’s done a good job with them but has he left a legacy that will carry on?
Hard to tell. They have some bloody good young players but need a lot doing the side to keep up even with Arsenal moving forward I think.
But he did turn them from a team that tbh when we were in the PL, I’d expect to beat at home and give a game to away to one that would roll us over if we were still up there now.

They have pushed for an unlikely title challenge this season, if anything they just aren't clinical enough in front of goal when it counted. Nunez for all the good he does needs 10 shots before he scores 1, Salah just isn't the player he was and the best chances just aren't falling to Jota who seems their best striker. There's been no lack of effort in the games I've seen they just have a problem converting easy chances. As managers go he's up there with the best they have ever had, they have had to compete with clubs that have spent far more money than they have and still managed to be really competitive. If Pep and Klopp had the same amount of money to spend I think Klopp would be the one who would come out on top

Pep had far less money at Barcelona than Madrid, yet they still played better and won more trophies during his relatievly short stay as manager there. Stoke has more money than most Championship clubs but still finish bottom third. Citeh finish above Liverpool, because Pep is a better tactician than Klopp. Not that JK isn't a good manager. He's a more relaxed person with a great sense of humour, whereas Guardiola hovers on manic behaviour at times. I've always rated JK, ever since he was manager at Mainz and sometime later became one of the best experts, almost like a good teacher, on German TV. I hope he will again this summer.

I'd fucking love to see him flatten that cunt Mo Salah.

I'd absolutely love see him manage England. I hate Liverpool, but for me they're by far the best side to watch.
Think the problem they have had this season(Liverpool) is they were going for it in three competitions and had a bit of an injury crisis. They've just simply run out of steam. They've blooded some decent youngsters this season aswell though. I just pray that Gerrard takes over when Slot gets sacked, because Gerrard is wank

I don't think Pep is a better manager than Klopp, Pep has been able to buy whoever he wants and has stacked his squad and bench with top players. Klopp has had to build teams with far less available to him and he has still managed to put out teams that have managed to compete at the highest level. Klopp hasn't been able to replace superstars with superstars during matches like Pep can. Pep has won 1 Champions League with Man City which I would say given what he has had available to him is pretty poor
