Not sure it is poor form.
Alot of decisions made by VAR, FA, UEFA, FIFA are highly questionable and it's difficult not to think there's a degree of corruption.
It probably needs more teams throwing their toys out of the pram and threatening legal action to start pushing back, because otherwise what threat is there?

Looking at some of the decisions yesterday they have a right to be annoyed, the penalty incidents were seemingly completely ignored, we’ve seen all 3 given in similar cases in the past, crazy that the ref wasn’t called to look at even one of them.
If they get relegated they’ll remember the decisions that went against them that day for decades to come.

1 genuinely awful decision of the 3….. but to say the fact he’s a Luton fan is why they were not given!! As jagielka said on motd- if your a Luton fan you’d prefer a draw!!

I think it would be poor form if they made a fuss only after the game. But they raised this issue in advance of the game and a) it is a conflict of interest and b ) it would have been straightforward to change the official with that amount of notice. Idiotic not have addressed this before the game.

Suppose it’s difficult to show class when Forest reported the conflict of interest before the game and were ignored. The officials then went on to totally ignore 3 penalty claims which all of them should have had at least a review. Its hard to see how corruption doesn’t start to factor in when you look at VAR in the whole.
Was it the best decision by them to voice like this? Who knows and no doubt the FA will have something to say. But in these cases it takes guts to come out and say what they did. People all over need to know what’s going on behind closed doors in football, because something stinks

What they’ve done is take football down a dangerous potential courtroom route which would be a death knell for the game but it’s hard not to sympathise as had it been Stoke I’d of been livid
It’s only Nottingham Forest in reality so nobody listens and they should just be thankful they are playing in the premiership just like Atkinson etc used to absolutely shaft us when we played under his watch and every non Stoke fan just laughed
Those decisions yesterday were an absolute scandal

This is what happens when the game sells it's soul to the dollar, and then backs it up with ridiculous FFP rules to protect the few.
You end up going down all roads, lashing out at anything to protect your place as a bottom feeder at the top table.
They can moan as much as they like, but nothing will change. Just like Man City won't get charged for FFP failings where other clubs are and will.
Forest for example, probably won't be bothered that FA Cup replays have been scrapped where a Bromley, Barnet or Dover (amongst others) could potentially live or die by them and are bothered by them.
We're all in a food chain and have to suck it up. If clubs want to join forces and rebel against the establishment they could do, but underneath the surface I guess they are just about happy enough with their lot to not to.
I've got no sympathy with any of them, Stoke included who were part of a problem that insulted and devalued the Autoglass Trophy by entering U21 teams into it, for example.
There are lots of contradictory narratives all through the leagues.

I’d guess the main option Forest will be considering this morning is when the E3 disrepute charge inevitably arrives is if they’ll put it down to the media team .. and therefore likely to attract only a slap on the wrist size fine … or go down the more serious route of saying it was an official club statement sanctioned at a higher level within the club
of course in the same post they’ll also be a letter apologising for the errors
Edit : To add ..the press ( with vested interest in the big boys of course ) don’t seem to be backing Forest ..’serial whingers’ just one of the responses

If I was a Forest fan I'd have my tinfoil hat on given how Everton's point deduction has been handled. The third one is a nailed on penalty and when you start wondering why Forest didn't get it and would have Everton got it the other way then the system is totally fucked.
VAR's turning football into WWE and for me it's being used to influence results without a shadow of a doubt. There's too many shitey decisions for it to be ineptitude.

It's the same as the have nots in the EFL. Happy to campaign to get the big spenders and rule benders bent over the FFP barrel as long as the TV money from the PL keeps propping them up. As long as most clubs are being fed they simply aren't interested until their relevant gravy train is threatened. Like I say, no sympathy here for any of them.

I've no idea what points deduction Everton should receive, but if they've broken the rules twice, that's a 20 point deduction right? VAR has made the instant into a committee discussion and therefore can be challenged by a legal process. Why didn't the official flag that the 3rd Young foul was a penalty? Why? They have dozens of TVs to check and it should have (MUST) been reviewed. That and the Coventry "offside" by a process that is only using 25 frames a second is completely ruining the game.

I dare say they see a window of opportunity. They warned the FA about a conflict of interests and lo and behold a clear penalty was not reviewed. The can of worms is fully open.

Whilst you could criticise the way Forest have gone about it, maybe the time has come to expose this bias that benefits the chosen ones and have the difficult conversations.
Nothing will convince me otherwise that there isn't bias and dare I say it, maybe even full on corruption, with some officiating.... after all, how can so much incompetence be continually displayed before it begs the question is it intentional?
I believe we are still subject to this to a lesser extent with how we are penalised with on pitch decisions, yet the opposition can get away with the same.
It's a conversation which is long overdue and the pissy FA and footballing establishment need their apple cart upsetting. I fear though they will just sanction Forest to get back in their box and I'm no Forest lover.
The very least the establishment should do is open up to independent scrutiny so that confidence can be established in how they apply the laes of the game.

This is a good point in relation to us being top of the table for fouls/bookings We still have the Pulis era reputation for being a rugby team but apart from Pearson I don't think we have one overtly aggressive midfielder and Pearson is more clumsy and cynical in his fouling habits as opposed to a Roy Keane-esque psycho

Gravy trains are finite and it’s only a matter of time before the Super League conversation comes back around. The Premier League flatters to deceive, it’s been helped by two elite coaches over the past 5 or 6 years. Klopp is leaving at the end of this season and Pep won’t be too far behind.

The more I think about it, the more right Forest are. How do you account for those decisions otherwise? 🤔 Perhaps the open and honest thing to do would be to release the audio from the incidents and see what the officials said during that time in each of the 3 incidents. Both the on field officials and VAR team I can’t remember the incident, but audio needed to be released to discuss yet more incompetence from them.

The more I think about it, the more right Forest are. How do you account for those decisions otherwise? 🤔 The PL need to be accountable and yes they should be taken to the courts to answer for their incompetence that way they’ll get their act together, well hopefully. In all honesty the PL would lose most cases based on such glaring errors, the only surprise is it hasn’t happened time and time again. All for it
