Rumour going around the ground today is that we’ve offered £4 million for him that’s a big out lay considering ffp and must be a big percent of our budget

I really quite like Hoever. 🤷♂️ He was sloppy at times today, but I don’t think we’ll find many better in this league going forwards. Not sure on £4 Million mind you, he probably would cost that much but not sure we’ll be the ones paying it.

Wolves' representatives were at the game, no doubt enjoying what they saw, and it suggests they want him themselves.

4M?
Has he been passing his special Amsterdam reefers* around the boardroom?
*It's just a joke.

Very good as a RW or RWB but I don’t think for one minute he should be developed as a RB, cover for Junior maybe but would you pay £4M for a cover/squad member?

Because we’ve nearly been relegated and he’s not very good. so without his goals and assists where would we be....he's got his faults but no one can question since million came in we look alot better with those two going forward....don't tell me million isn't good enough in your eyes... And without his shit defending for most of the season we’d be up the table. Total false economy.

Rumour going around the ground today is that we’ve offered £4 million for him Not sure we should be spending 4 mill on him when we have junior for the same position. Surely we can’t afford to do that when there’s so many other positions that need the money.

Today proved that Tcamadeau is not yet at Hoever's level. I think Hoever's game today lacked a bit of the intensity of previous weeks but we just lost all threat down that right hand side when he went off. And at one point Junior lost the ball on the edge of their penalty area and struggled to get back to defend. I appreciate that fitness and not having been in the team makes it difficult for him but Hoever is such a big part of our threat that he will be difficult to replace.
I had hopes he was coming back when he went off as neither he nor his team mates made a big deal of it like happened when Campbell came off. I think him and Manhoeff seem to get on well.

I think Hoever has really tightened up the defensive side of his game lately, not had a brain fart for a while - he’s starting to look like a proper player for me (and I wanted him gone a few months ago).

Rumour going around the ground today is that we’ve offered £4 million for him I like him and think he has the potential to be decent top flight player, but I don’t think we’re in a position to spend £4M on a RB. We have more pressing needs. If the fee was £2M…

Rumour going around the ground today is that we’ve offered £4 million for him Whether that's true or not re FFP it would need to be at £3.5m or Wolves would have to write it as a loss I've no idea what our budget is like him be pleased if we sign him but can't be any doubt it's pricy Could end up making money on him though Wonder if that's right, I thought he was signed for more, but apparently just £9m. £9m 5 year contract signed 2020 3 years in signs a 1 year extension. So £4.6m in 2023, this summer FFP worth £2.3m? Would be keen to sign him but don't get how we get the FFP funds to do so.

He's had a great couple or thray months but it's probably the only position I'm not enthralled at the idea of spending cash on. We've invested in JT and we should give him the crack of the whip first imo. Goochy and Lezzer can provide cover.

I think he is a good footballer. His pass was perfect for million first. Wolves will likely want to make some money but he’s certainly too weak to start in the Prem which gives us a chance. He’s been no worse than our other defenders but finishing the season so well has been at least partly down to him, goals and assists when we needed them. Junior not at his level yet. Yet? I’m not convinced Junior will ever be as good as Hoever. Agree with the rest of what you said.

It's an oatcake myth he can't defend. He showed 3 great cover tackles today alone. He has 3 issues his position needs to improve, his concentration and decision making. All coachable at 22. If he had a player of Ryan's stature inside him no one would ever have noticed the lapses above. I think that was his 40th appearance this season. Since he's had a proper coach he's got better every game.
I'd get him in for his flourishing oartnership with Million alone which has got better week by week.

He has been excellent over the last month or so when it really mattered. And I say this as someone who was very critical of him over winter.

He's on £40k a week - we won't be paying anywhere near half of that. It's just not going to happen. It'd be nice to get him back for next seasons promotion push but I just can't see us getting him on a permanent deal. Gouranga.

Decent full backs come at a premium, unfortunately. £4m in today’s market isn’t too bad.
