Not even a remote chance any of those even pick the phone up. all about wages mate players will play for anyone if the moneys right, We don’t want players coming to us for a pay day though, their heart needs to be in it as well. Once they sign that contract, that money is guaranteed for the next 2-3 years. If they are coming more for money and less for ambition, you’ll never see the best of those players.

Not even a remote chance any of those even pick the phone up. all about wages mate players will play for anyone if the moneys right, That's not entirely true now is it? Badou and Etebo were being paid handsomely here and neither of the pair of knobs were remotely interested in being here. All 3 will likely end up in the bottom half of the Prem anyway, so it's not really worth discussing.

Rotherham goalkeeper Johanson is buying 600 pints for fans in a town centre pub before there last match of the season to thank them for their support.
He will probably leave due to their relegation.
Nice gesture.🍺😄

We seriously need to look at getting Cundle in. He’s clearly got talent. He’s been excellent since he came back into the side, I’d like to see him back here next season - ideally on a permanent deal if the reported 1.5m was accurate.

Cundle , Hoever and Iverson from the players currently on loan and then build from there. We could definitely strengthen at left back, and a big, strong center half to play alongside Wilmot. If we can add those to the likes of Bae, Manhoef, Berger, Laurent, Junior and Campbell and then give Lowe, Tezgel and Sidibe the chance to push on, I think we’ve got the makings of a very good side.

Marc Albrighton (juicy 12 month contr)
Iversen 3 year
Hoever(12 month loan)
Souttar (12 month loan)
Brereton-Diaz
Contracts for Thommo and Stevens.(2 and 1 respectively.
Nearly there.

I’ve watched a lot of Bolton this season and really like the look of Paris Maghoma in their midfield. On loan from Brentford , only 22 but could be relatively cheap. Always enjoyed watching him whenever I’ve seen him this year.

Schumacher proved right again regarding Cundle. I doubted it at first. Not anymore.
SCFC are trying to lean out our bloated squad and stay within Financial Foul Play, so this summer will be more about who leaves and what we get for them. THAT will determine who we can bring in. (And what the incomings will demand)
But I get it, this thread's about who we SHOULD sign, so back to your normal programming...

After the last few games it really feels like we’ve finally got a system in the 433. It’s taken time but I’m not sure the rebuild needs to be as drastic as some think. The way I see it
GK - Iversons got better and better though his kicking isn’t great. I’d be happy with him but would prefer Johanson or Travers.
RB - Hope Hoever returns if he doesn’t Junior needs competition. Gooch could be an option though I’m not sure he’s good enough defensively.
LB - Defo need someone younger but Stevens is decent cover and quality.
CB - Rose and Wilmot are quite similar. They need an organiser besides them. We need a pool of 4 with McNally going.
CM - a pool of Burger, Thompson, Pearson, Laurent and Sidibe is decent for the sitters. AM - Get in Cundle and one other to replace Johnson. Could Mmaee play that role?
WIDE - Bae and Mahmouf are outstanding but they need similar quality backup. Vidigal could be an option but he needs to shape up or ship out. I’m not sure that Leris is that type but is a useful squad player.
CF - Mmaee I like if he can sort his attitude out but not sure he’ll get enough goals as he’s more a number 10. I’m 50/50 on Tye. Ennis worries me re lack of quality.
So for me in order of priority
CF Essential GK Essential CB Essential LB Priority AM Priority

Still the same:
GK
Junior/RB CB CB LB
DM Burger CM
Manhoef CF Junho
The only loan player I’d want back is Iversen if he was good value (1-2m).
Cundle on loan, I could live with now I guess. But he’s got to play more like the last 3 weeks.

Do we think M'waee will be here next season? i don’t think he will , he’s never quite settled plus i don’t like players who disrespect the club , and being late and not even turning up for training is complete disrespect
