I always think the Sentinel ratings, like those of the fans, show a certain amount of bias and very little objectivity. Fan favourites always seem to get better marks. For example I don't remember Campbell ever being the best outfield player on the pitch under Neil. In fact if anything he didn't seem to like playing for him. Now fans have turned against him, the Sentinel seem to think his performances have dropped by a whole point but that's not what I have seen. If anything he puts in more effort now. And some of their markings for Lowe have been ridiculously over the top.

Had an excellent game at Sunderland under Neil but not many others jump out, in fact not many games do in general.

I’ve not read it but haven’t they followed a similar path? Both have ended up shitting themselves and being terrified of losing resulting in rubbish football. Slightly different as in AN shit himself over losing his job (self preservation) whereas at least Schu has shit himself over the genuine prospect of relegation. Wonder how long our dreams of decent football will last next season and how many coaches/managers will shit themselves next season. Maybe we’ll just try to play shit low scoring football from the off and save any disappointment it would suit quite a lot of our fans.

Agree but this comparison is arguing that players have performed worse this season for Schumacher than they did for Neil based on Sentinel player ratings after each match. The only significant differences from what I can see at a glance are Vidigal, who set the season off in style so acceptable, Wilmot, Pearson and Campbell, all performing one point at least below than they were under Neil. No surprise that those three have become the boo boys under Schumacher. Pearson and Campbell were overrated under Neil, Pearson being fifth and Campbell being the best outfield player with Travers top. I cannot ever this season remember Campbell being the best player on the pitch and he had some matches where he stank, just like he is doing under Schumacher.

Just to the right of Fletcher, and even Sam Vokes, he was a real handful.

And I’ve not kicked a ball in anger since winning the “Food Hub” challenge on the pitch against Norwich last season.

I got home after and lost my £20 voucher. You didn’t take it did you?
