Not sure if posted on here somewhere but this is some increase. Some are going from 190 a season to 850!
And some moan at our owners!

Covered here by the BBC but what struck me is the Spurs hike. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68835277"Spurs are also removing the concession for new senior season ticket holders - those aged 65 and above - from 2025-26." Whilst I appreciate that some pensioners will have plenty of disposable income there will be many who won't.

The problem is that now with the new profit & sustainability rules owners can’t just dump money into the clubs anymore. They have to increase revenue to give them financial headroom. Unfortunately that will mean increased ticket prices somewhere down the line for all of us.

It's a crazy price considering could be playing in the championship next year.
If that was our pice that would be me done with a season ticket and pick and choose my games.

This isn't a Forest thing, a Liverpool thing or a Spurs thing, it's the out and out greed and out of control finances (despite the existence of FFP) that exists in Professional football, particularly at the top level. Players wages are an absolute joke, bring back the maximum wage and let's make it a sport for all the people again and not just the rich. Until the likes of Man City actually face charges and appropriate fines and significant points deductions nothing will change, as everyone attempts to compete with them. As things stand, your average man in the street just won't be able to afford to watch live football, in fact that's probably not far off the case now.

Grounds are packed more than ever Seem to be managing it Only rich people? I don't think so . Is far cheaper than going to a concert say

Are we not getting to a crossover now though where pensioners will have more disposable income than the average working person? It certainly feels that way anyway. And I don’t think that means it’s right btw but actually we need cheaper prices generally that will help those that need it more.

Forest are exploiting the fact they have a waiting list for season tickets as their ground isn’t the biggest……

I’d love to see Forest go down.
I thought they might add something to the league when they went up but they’ve added absolutely nothing.

Wealth because you go to football? Don't do concerts Explain how when you could get into football for £5-10 , grounds were very rarely full? Are the people who didn't go back then the ones been priced out by these apparently wealthy folk? You could pay on the gate, £3 at Old Trafford and now 20k more capacity they have a waiting list When did you do this survey of who goes to games? I doubt many of our 20k plus crowds are wealthy people, they are exactly the average working person I would reckon . We used to get 12-14 k crowds when £5 to stand One of those football myths

If people want to pay it and can afford to, that's fine by me but I still maintain there are lots that aren't so fortunate, which is all I wanted to say.

They are taking it for granted that people will simply pay it. People will only pay it if they can. If more decide they can't afford it then it's a pointless exercise. And all this is another symptom of the premier league starting up all those years ago.
