It kicked off when some of our brightest started chanting "your going down with the Vale" in the street outside, no need. But the bad feeling started when they scored and a few of their lot decided to run down the gangways in the stand to our left and start giving it the big un. One stood out, a ginger kid of about 17 who you could have knocked over with a feather. I hope the daft cunt got spotted outside and is regretting it this morning, but I doubt he was anywhere near when punches started being thrown. The police and stewards did nothing about this clear incitement, and that's poor, they should have took them down. I thought the whole game was a 70's throwback, dilapidated stadium, sizeable crowd, loud stoke contigent, two traditional teams, poor football, hoofing it into the wind, gallows humour and some mither afterwards. The whole thing was fairly enjoyable, once it was over and we hadn't got beat

So just to be clear you hoped a young 17 year old lad who was winding up some Stoke fans got a good beating at the end of the game?
Classy.

It was my first time visiting Hillsborough. I must admit I was very impressed with their support and looking at the comments on line, I think they thought the same about us. It’s a shame both teams are crap because an atmosphere and attendance on that scale deserves to be at the top of the championship or even in the premier league.
In terms of the stadium, three sides are fine, but the stand we were in needs demolishing. I’m amazed it’s still there in its current state considering its history and condition.

They're a south Yorkshire Sunderland, punching well below their weight! It must be particularly galling for them that their neighbours have had some premier League success while they've been way down. Saying that there's plenty of historical big clubs down below in the doldrums!
I guess the police and stewards just review CCTV and make early morning house visits!

Saw no mither at all, walked back to the coaches (about 1/2 a mile away!) chatting to home fans no issues
It was 1 knobhead away from trouble though when the gobshites kick in

This bloke wasn’t impressed with our players 😊 We definitely tried to disrupt the flow, they had loads of momentum from 0 to 15 mins. If we hadn't done it I'd be left asking why.

This bloke wasn’t impressed with our players 😊 I can understand why they would think that. For me, I just thought we were trying to take the sting out of the game because we were under siege in that first half. They were frustrated with Burger but he went off with concussion so that’s an acceptable delay surely?

My mum’s first game after her recent release from prison and boy was she in her element. She was straight into the Wednesday lot as soon as we got there and I had to pull her away from a couple of skirmishes before the game where, in fairness, someone had likened her to “Phil Mitchell with a pair of tits”.
Her fighting spirit and will to twat anyone who isn’t Stoke was there throughout the game and when we equalised she duly went mental and ended up getting escorted out by an “overzealous steward who couldn’t wait to cop a feel” according to her. I went to meet her behind the stand after the game where she had clearly rattled a few more cages as she was face down on the ground with twelve police officers having to restrain her (she is a very strong lady).
Thankfully they let her go ( more for their own safety), and she was able to finally clobber some little ginger kid who could have been no older than 17. She hit him that hard he’s now a Sheffield United supporter.
Good times.

I’m sure we’ve had someone concussed this season and he was ruled out for the match.

One of those grounds that some call a proper ground and old school etc when really some of it is hardly fit to be hosting huge crowds. A bit of a cliche with older grounds like QPR etc. Same when you see a crap old game from the 70s on You Tube and you can guarantee the comments will include - proper football- when football was football- imagine players today on those pitches etc .

Celebrating goals at home is all the sweeter when there is a large boisterous away crowd to poke fun at and I sit on the half way line! If we're happy to give it we have to take it. Or are opposition fans supposed to say "Jolly hard luck old chaps!"?

Didn't see any skirmishes myself. Had the banter with them on the way to the ground.
They are a like us, dismayed with how their season is going.
My 8th visit to the ground and I've never seen us lose there.
Yes, the ground is a bit battered but has miles more character then new builds.
Great atmosphere from them and us.
I hope they stay up with us too

i thought it was a fat bugger who was escorted out for summat.
loads of stewards came into the ground into the 4 corners after about 10mins i thought at the time they were expecting summat to kick off.
only issue i saw after thhe game were some stokies considering beating up a black range rover after the driver decided that fans walking along the road should be pushed by said vehicle . fortunately the police were being run over by it as well and were able to calm things down .
could do with a few less songs being sung about the vale at matches , who cares , and anyway , i thought tragedy chanting was now an offence ?

There was a knob head and his lad in a chelsea tractor near the petrol station on leppings lane who was trying to drive thru the crowd. It got to the point that he was almost inches away from fans and kids walking away from the ground. A few lads then started to question his driving to the point the police came in and had to diffuse a potential flash point. To be fair he was a complete bellend and a slap would have been justified for the sheer stupidity of driving aggressively at youngsters.

Tragedy chanting is rightfully banned, nobody wants to hear the Steps cover of the Bee Gees classic ‘Tragedy’ sang at football matches. Leave that to wedding djs.

She is single and really not that violent once you get to know her. She just needs some basic training and a strong lover who can tend to her sexual wants and needs. If you think that's for you then, please, go for it.

Yep Kind of thing teams in Europe are praised for, trying to kill early momentum from the home team, silence the crowd etc. Was one way traffic and nothing wrong in it. To be fair they were playing on a homer ref for free kicks and he fell for it. Burger was hardly faking it as you say.
