Have two teams from the same city ever been relegated in the same season? Not including London.

The two Sheffield teams in 2020/21 did it. United from the Prem and Wednesday from the Championship.

I think late 90s when Forest came bottom of the Prem , County went down also from their division

Bah, bollocks to that Sheffield relegation, there's nowt impressive about getting relegated from the top two divisions, if Stoke-on-Trent does it we'll be getting relegated into the bottom two leagues, that's doing relegation properly!

They sounded glum on the wireless Yeah, it wasn't the best day for the old Vale. 2-0 up at half time and cruising against a mid-table Exeter side seemingly already on the beach and they only go and ship 4 second half goals. If that weren't bad enough their arch relegation rivals Burton finally remembered how to win a game. Were it not for our own predicament I would find the whole thing hilarious! NB I just had a quick look at the OVF board, there seems to be a growing Darren Moore 'get rid' crew.
