Very rare for me that I have any feelings towards a match until kick off yet here I am, on a Monday, with a horrible pit in my stomach with what's to come on Saturday.

Will be a much slower less frenetic game than Sheffield Wednesday match

Will Burger be ruled out re concussion protocol? He should be OK if it was minor Stage 1 Stage 1 is an initial rest period of 48 hours. In the first 48 hours, it is ok to perform mental activities (e.g. reading), and normal activities of daily living as well as walking. Stage 2 Light exercise Stage 3 Football specific exercise Stage 4 Non-contact training Stage 5 Full contact training Stage 6 Return to play (RTP)

All set for another home horror show. Plymouth will want this so bad. Why do you bother?

Never mind the fact that we pinched their head coach and could have two of their ex-players up against them, what they'll really be after is revenge for the 9-0 drubbing we gave them on 17th December1960. Football fact: Johnny King scored a hat-trick for the Potters that day, he's still holds the record for the most hat-tricks for the club, since 1946, with five. He's still alive aged 91. (And yes, before you ask, he most probably still has his boots!)

Don't know anything about Plymouth apart from they have a nice kit, that game v Rotherham was one of the worst have ever seen and if they scored on Ceefax you could guarantee was Tommy Tynan

The crowd often moaned about him and got on his back. Football fans eh ?

On the basis that we generally never do things the easy way, then I have already resigned myself to the loss, it's a coping mechanism I use often.
Onto Southampton.......

You would but a bit like my golf has been this week completely inconsistent, no sure if I’d prefer to be playing a team like Leeds.

Every match report I read seems to single out an error by McNally that leads to a goal. Do we have any other options?

He would still turn up in his tracksuit and boots and act as ball boy 10/15 years ago when I was playing Sunday League in Crewe. Always had a smile on his face and would chase the ball wherever it went!
