Im driving to holland soon and was wondering if anyone has driven through France recently.Dont know whether to stock up in UK before i leave or fill her up in one of the garages near Calis .Does anyone have any ideas cheers lads..

I haven't been since last September but even with the recent increases and the fall in the value of the pound against the euro you should still be at least 8 to 10p a litre better off filling up in France

average prices per litre as at 28 May 2008
motorway, roadside sp95 =1.59€, sp98 =1.61€, diesel=1.53€
supermarché sp 95=1.46, sp98= €1.48€, diesel=1.43€
There you go. Euro currently €1.2=£1
A bit out of date but may help. I was in Corfu early this month and prices were as above there as well. Also why is diesel more expensive in uk but cheaper in europe.

yer prices are shite also the £ to euro aint helping, went the Le mans 24hr 2 weeks ago, prices about 169euros for super unleaded, some of the lads were filling up in Dover saying its cheaper over here ??
