I’ve also allowed time to pass before considering the Swansea game.
I wasn’t bothered with the nature of the Norwich defeat as they are flying at the moment and I expect them to be promoted.
However, Swansea are a wretched side on a run of awful form. After 30 seconds of the game, it was clear our players didn’t fancy it. This was a game to expect a point and hope for three. To lose so resolutely was a shock I’ve not yet reconciled. Swansea were poor on the night - very poor, but we were nothing.
Even if the ref had allowed our goal, not given the penalty and sent off their player for the foul on Burger, I would have still been relieved to get a draw.
It’s a big game for the manager on Saturday. Can he pick the most suited players for a relegation scrap, can he motivate the players and can he get his tactics right. I’m far from convinced by him I’m afraid.

I’m not convinced we’ll win again this season. Hopefully massively wrong but Wednesday night was like the run of 6 we had without a win.
Think we’re going down

Were they unhappy with the plan, the rain, too much pasta at lunch? God knows but it’s simply not good enough. As I’ve mentioned, I couldn’t give a shit about any of these players, no affinity with them. They can’t be arsed, neither can I!

Think we’re going down Was 1 game in horrible conditions and a poor ref who didn't help . Why dwell on that one over the good ones which outnumber it of late ? Hitting us with the negative waves too early in the morning. Can see us winning 2

Whilst it was a dreadful performance, there was only bad team out of two that were going to win that, made impossible by the ref, let alone team selection or determination on our part.

Still fuming, absolutely dreadful performance!! But… one thing Schuey is right about, we can’t get too down when we’re shit just like after Hull, Preston, the WBA come back we can’t get carried away. I can’t see us losing the final 4 games now til the end of the season. There will be at least one decent result in there so we’ll just about be ok. I hope…. This game on Saturday is bigger than anything in the last 20 years in my opinion. For the potential negative impact on SCFC for years to come it is huge. Lose this one and the margin for error is zero in the last 3 games. Have our players got the bottle ? A tad dramatic. Lose this and we will have 3 games left to get 3pts. So, we can lose the next three as long as we win v Bristol. So, I reckon we still have plenty of room to get ourselves out of this mess. However, if we do lose on Sat the next 3 games may be more difficult as I am not sure we can handle the pressure.

Like I say hopefully I’m wrong but the feeling I got from the players on Wednesday was terrible. I genuinely think they don’t really care too much, or they don’t respect what they’re being asked to do. But yea big smile, clap away and let’s get 3pts on Saturday and forget how shit we are.

Yep by not trying intricate passing like we overdo way too much at times No one has a big smile and clapping away. Just being realistic that it was one game and continually crying about it solves nothing. Is one game and it's history now.

Lose to a side in the relegation zone and the confidence of an already mentally brittle squad is shot. I don’t believe this set of players has the bottle to cope with the nerves that will be evident in the last 3 games. So not really dramatic to say we are absolutely on the brink of relegation.
