Didn't catch his name, but whoever was reporting in to Durham last night said, "there's something about Stoke, when players pull on the shirt they seem to lose the ability to play football"

SJW has spoken about the Stoke DNA and although there have been times when some players have disappointed over the years I can't remember a time when I have wanted every one of them to fuck off until now

Not a single player is willing to drive standards, not a single one bollock eachother when players are making terrible individual mistakes. Easy ride fc

When burger and junho play we play. The championship means players don’t always play good. Some teams have more players that they can afford have an off game and still have enough to get by, we don’t, that for me is the difference. I hear Leeds and Leicester fans moaning about the same things. When our players are on it they can look quite decent minus a striker. When our key players aren’t on it the rest are exposed

Not a single player is willing to drive standards, not a single one bollock eachother when players are making terrible individual mistakes. Easy ride fc At least two times last night when Swansea players were giving us a bit, and not a single player wanted to get involved. They've got no fight in them.

They aren't tough enough. I can see other teams coming in for them and if that happens I wouldn't mind getting our 7-8 million back for them and spending that money on a striker and defender who are playing well at championship level now or in the very recent past

Not a single player is willing to drive standards, not a single one bollock eachother when players are making terrible individual mistakes. Easy ride fc Absolutely this! I believe it's because they're all shite no one wants to call each other out. I saw Burger give Mcnally a bollocking the other day for dropping rather than coming to win the ball but to be honest I'd have been disappointed in a 16 year old CB for some of the stuff he does.

Remember the days when the fans, players, managers, pundits and every fucker else hated us because they knew it would be a battle from minute one to the last and we wouldn't lay down and die for anyone. The fact we are now looked on as a nice easy game is criminal really. Hope the toothache gets itself gone for you mate.

Not saying I want to us to be kicking lumps out of the opposition, or putting ourselves at risk of being sent off, but it's all back slapping and Twitter posting when things go well but when there's any kind of battle or confrontation, it quickly disappears.
I want a group who have each others backs. When someone fucks up, I want people to double down and dig them out of the shit, not turn their back and be glad it wasn't their error.
Where's their fucking bottle?

Our disallowed goal the team should have been going tonto and the penalty was clearly outside the box yet on both occasions barely a whimper and took it up the arse without lubricant - that's not the mark of a Stoke side. I don't want them crowding the ref particularly but fuck me a couple of them could have put a few of theirs up in the air at the injustice even just for appearances.

What really pisses me off players like Vidigal and Laurent rightfully get dropped not because they’re out of form but they’re not good players, spend months benched then appear in the starting eleven and insanely SS expects them to come back better players, madness.
The same applies to Leris/Haks to a certain degree which just goes to show what a complete balls up we’ve made “yet again”.
We had the January transfer window to address gaps left from the 999 players we signed in the summer but instead added utter, utter rubbish bar Iversen whose form is what it should be.
Honestly you couldn’t make this up and SS has somehow made us worse on and off the pitch

Worst of all it was true

I'd rather have 11 mediocre players who each own a pair of bollocks and fight tooth and nail every game rather than 11 skilled ones with no gumption and no fight

Ben Pearson isn’t a hard man. He isn’t an intimidator. He just gets booked a lot for shite. Play 4 of the fuckers and we’re down to 9 men in 30 minutes.

They don’t appeal for anything, they accept whatever’s thrown at them and not one of them stands up, steps in to help a teammate when it’s kicking off apart from Hoever who got involved a wee bit when his fellow countryman Manhoef was shoved by a Swans player. Can you imagine the likes of Whelan, SJW, Huth, Ric & Mama etc shrugging their shoulders and walking away. This lot are an embarrassment, soft as shit, gutless, heartless and plain clueless.

I actually like the fact that Burger shows spirit and determination, and is vocal, perhaps there was some of that last night but i didnt see it. Not so much the hardman but Pearson gets stuck in and its a measure of how soft we appear to other teams that fans like me are actually asking for Mr Walking Yellow to get more game time. He breaks up play and is a horrible niggly bastard. Laurent by contrast is all jelly and quiver
