Going up 2% and they are holding a protest. I could almost hope for Arsenal to win the league 🙄

Am I getting this right... You're both having a go at fans for protesting ticket price increases?

Times are hard and there's suburbs in Liverpool that are struggling as is, let alone their football club hiking the prices up. Kick in the teeth for many families hoping to keep the kids going to the football. Fair play to them. How are they protesting it?

There's absolutely no need to raise ST prices given how much revenue they make from the TV companies.

I can remember some Stoke fans not that many years back complaining about season tickets going up £20 a season for premium seating in the centralised block 30 area

2% isnt really a big thing.
Think about it, if the season ticket is £500 it'll go up by £10, which is derisory when you think that things like mobile phone contracts go up by 3.9% and council taxes are 5% and above.

The rise is a disgrace but at least do something meaningful. Maybe they will in the coming weeks. Why should they have to stay away from their own clubs because temporary owners feel the need to increase prices. Would be interesting to know what 2% actually means in the great scheme of " one of biggest clubs in richest league in world" .

No excuse for any Premier League club to put their prices up given their income streams, be it 2% or 20%.
Shocking in what is a very tight financial area.

I’d like to wager that none of them would be accepting a 2% pay rise last summer when the strikes were in full swing.
2% is a very respectable rise

So they should. I honestly think all tiers should have a fixed price cap they charge irrespective of the size of the club. The so called big clubs get away with ripping fans off and take the piss out of people's affordability just because they are more successful than other teams
A lot of these clubs price out their working class fans.
