A 20% improvement, seems about right. You can't change everything without some personnel swaps. Yeah Birmingham, biggest league mistake ever if they are relegated.

Shows it can very much be a lottery. Plymouth, Millwall, Blackburn, and Birmingham especially were meeting or exceeding expectations when they changed manager, and then got worse.

Sunderland’s managerial changes have proven to be completely unnecessary

Plymouth had there mnanagerial change forced on them if you remember. Shows it can very much be a lottery. Plymouth, Millwall, Blackburn, and Birmingham especially were meeting or exceeding expectations when they changed manager, and then got worse.

For all the positivity around Eustace in the beginning (largely down to the Newcastle FA Cup performance) his record is:
W1 D7 L3.
They arguably have the toughest run in as well.......

What that shows to me with regards to Stoke, is that we have a gradual improvement over time under Schumacher which gives me hope for next season as he stamps his style of football on the team. I am always a bit suspicious of new manager bounce as I think that can happen over 6-10 games and once the novelty wears off the team sink back to where they were before.
