Last 2 home games.
Could have been virtually safe but now more work to do.

Given that we went behind in both games, I’d say it was the latter.

I look further back.
Hull Away Huddersfield Home WBA Home
5 points from those three games is a good return for the position we are in.
Get 5 out of the next 3 and we are across the line and sorted.
Happy with that.

Got to be 2 gained and we are seemingly better away anyway !

A decent (and deserved) point today for sure in the circumstances - I have been pretty confident for a while that we won't be in the bottom 3 come May and we are indeed edging our way slowly but surely to safety and a that all so important close-season taking of stock and making some decent plans to fill the talent gaps of which there are several......

Most important factor is that we seem to have fixed our poor home performances. Whether that is temporary is yet to be seen but at least we have the home fans on side for now.
Most people said the 8 points from our remaining six games would have been enough. We now have 5 of them points with three games remaining.
Positives lads, we just need to stop giving ourselves such a mountain to climb.

Id go with the latter
I was sick of knowing the game was lost as soon as we went 1 down so these 2 games suggest we are heading in the right direction

We fucking killed then today and still couldn’t win which is incredibly frustrating.

We fucking killed then today and still couldn’t win which is incredibly frustrating. Keep playing like that and the goals will come However can we keep playing like that, or at least more often? Got to start somewhere

Think we might get as many points away.

Truth is we are only a couple of defeats from the dooda.
Still nervous.
I know the other fixtures could help us but we are far from safe.

Perhaps thought they were not fit enough we do seem to keep going for the full 90 plus it seems last few games..

Maybe but that would improve the more you do it? Or just tone it down a bit? Not go backs to the wall shitting yourself like he did.

2 gained if you look at the fact we were behind in both games.
Maybe 2 lost against Huddersfield given the silly lineup. You can't start a home game woth Ennis up front, I like the lad but he's a "bring him on with 15/20 mins left" type of forward.
In recent years we would've picked up 0 points after going behind so that's a huge thumbs up for Schumacher for intilling some mental toughness. In recent years we would've folded after going 2 down and would've lost 3, 4 or 5.

We fucking killed then today and still couldn’t win which is incredibly frustrating. That's football, you don't always get what you deserve. If we had lost the game we would have lost the right way. That type of fighting spirit got us in the Prem and kept us there for a number of years, hopefully that's back in the club to stay because we will go far with that attitude. We could have easily folded when we went 2 down but we didn't we knuckled down and got something from the game. Under Gallagher we were shite against West Brom and we're lucky to get a point so maybe we are even.

How can you say?
I'd inch towards 1 gained Vs Huddersfield as we were poor and 2 lost against the Baggies even though we came from 2 behind. 2 lost because we were so much better than them. Daft way to look at it I know...

Truth is we are only a couple of defeats from the dooda. Still nervous. I know the other fixtures could help us but we are far from safe. I think what helps us is just how many teams there are in the mix. They can't all perform well in the run in and there is clear blue water between us and the bottom 3. That is why William Hill have us at 16/1 to go down. Having said that I'm still nervous!

I think whenever you start grouping games together, it's looking for excuses.
We beat one, so be grateful for anything in another. And vice versa.
I think you have to look at it on a game-by-game basis. But also, throughout a season there will always be good results and bad results. Undeserved wins and undeserved losses. What we have lacked for many years is any kind of consistency.
