Great footwear I have Merrell Kahuna III sandals and I can walk for miles in them on my hols. Lived in Merrell Blaze sandals for about 15 years. I noticed they were not available so much so I bought 2 more pairs before they were finally discontinued. 6 mths ago they were on their last kegs so looked at the new Merrell sandals. Didn't like them. I looked like an extra out of Trumpton! Bought some Keens instead. Bag of shite. Don't like them at all. Nowhere near as comfy or as good a fit. I may have to go back to Merrells and get myself some 'Trumpton' shoes.

I’ve bought Merrell approach shoes for past 15 years or so because they provide the arch support I need. Surprisingly HiTec have suited me for last few years currently have HiTec Summit which have good arch support. Has anybody tried Skechers walking boots or shoes? I love the street shoes and so comfy with the arch support.

Wasn't there a thread on socks? I went and bought (mostly) merino wool socks and they're incredible. Used them for long walks and snow shoeing so far.
Whoever bigged them up, cheers!
