Lets say the red and white had to be scrapped for some reason, what design would you choose to replace it?

I quite like the blue and black hooped shirt. Maybe it could be given a go as an away kit?

I guess it’s more of a what’s your favourite kit kind of thread.
I really like Torino home shirts. So that sort of colour.
Or Sassuolo.

I think I've mentioned before, Macron would have done a cracking job that year. This is Bradford's current (Home) 120th anniversary shirt*: - swap the amber hoops for blue and that's how I would have envisaged a 150th anniversary shirt for us. * FFS the link won't work - try just going to the page: Bradford Anni Kit

Armitage Shanks white with a cartoon turd on the front. The new kit pays homage to the historical bog making exploits of people known the world over as “Stokies”

Don't know how to add photos but saw quite a smart one the other day, Cork City FC, it's based on the Germany 90's World Cup shirt.

If we had to change then it would be the Inter blue and black striped style for me.

From The Ceramic City Clipper, May 1968
POTTERS’ POST by Derek Hodgson As I suspected, the proposal to change Stoke City’s strip from red and white stripes to Evergreen, split supporters into two age groups. Around 90% of those under 25 favoured a change. Something like 99% of those over 25 were against the change. So let it be said now. The Club colours will remain red and white stripes. But we may experiment with a change of strip when necessary and see how supporters react to a new strip. Now, as to the letters. In favour of a change were regular correspondents like “TEN STOKE SUPPORTERS” and “A LONG-SUFFERING GANG” from China Street, Fenton, who concluded “Up the Evergreens”. D. Brown (Burslem) pointed out 24 League clubs used red and white, 12 in stripes. John Beckett (Newcastle) “on behalf of 20 supporters” was all for Evergreen, as was J. V. Smith (May Bank), Michael Smolarz (Bentilee) and Henry Colclough (Talke Pits). Wanting a change of colour but not too keen on Evergreen were R. S. Shaw (Westlands) – “red and black stripes”, H. H. Woodward (Stafford) – “yellow jerseys, black shorts”, Jill Cooper (Sneyd Green) – “all purple”, Frank Salmon (Birches Head) – “sunset orange”, and F. V. Sarson (Stoke) – “wedgewood blue and white”. Paul Broadley (Werrington) scorned Evergreen and went all out for Inter Milan’s black and blue stripes. The opposition was vehement. E. B. Hancock of Leyland, a supporter for 25 years, considered it “a gross impertinence for one who has been with the club only a short time to ferment such feelings”. Ouch! [Presumably aimed at Derek Hodgson himself?] Christine Young (Derby) pleaded for red and white. Pauline Edwards (Longton) wanted the present strip modernising and E. D. Masefield (Newcastle) said it was all “a mania for change”, “FIVE STOKE FANS” from Chaddesden said Ivy Green was “ridiculous” while H. B. Holland (Shelton) proclaimed “changing the club’s strip is gimmickry which smacks of a desperate shortage of ideas.” M. J. Swinnerton (Knutton) wanted red and white without the stripes and four girls from Blurton (The Misses Barlow, Adams and Summerscales) insist on no change. Bloody but unbowed, I was finally routed by a missive from Biddulph which consisted of two huge pages covered with the word “please” and three more pages covered with the signatures of 50 girls, all from Biddulph, all of whom love “The Lads in Red and White”. I surrender, dears.
How about those for some lucky escapes?!?!?

Red and white stripes, front, back and sleeves. White collar and cuffs. No patches apart from badge and advert. No panel on back. 4,5 or 6 red stripes on the front. Completely white shorts. Completely white socks.
I prefer a round neck collar but that could be where the designers have a little choice.
