Got to be 10 massive 3 points which is all that matters at the moment. Gouranga.

For the first time in a very long time I have to give a ten. We were better than them and that’s down to Schumacher

10,000
No square pegs, correct decision to stick the 3 central defenders in there against their physical threat - lucky manager to have them all fit at the same time - pathetic that we only have 3 viable central defenders in the squad, but that is for another day
Massive win - who cares about performance at this stage, had we lost that game it would have meant 8 defeats in the last 10, confidence and momentum from recent performances halted, still in the relegation zone, 4 wins needed from 9 games to get to 50pts looking less likely.
Attitude and will to win is there amongst the players, they have fought for every minute in the last 3 games no matter what the score - only down side is that we don't have anybody in the team in form in front of goal, but we are in there fighting and the players/manager seem to be ultra focussed and we are out of the relegation zone for now - so room for hope and optimism tonight, something that was not there 7 days ago prior ton the Borough game

9.
Deserves a lot of credit for parking his ideals for short term security (even if it is a few weeks too late... 😉). I don't think people realise how big that is in the modern day manager, where most seem to have a reasonable plan A and refuse to budge from it.
Today was a horses for courses system and it worked a treat.

9, I think we're finally seeing what he's been working towards.
Shame Burger couldn't stay on to get the second yellow mind.

10.
Under pressure, changed to a formation which isn't his favoured one and got a result.
For me that's a hallmark of a good manager. Still think we should keep this one what ever will happen this season.

Changed the system correctly , without massive changes to personnel, consistency is the key for me. Listening to his interview also says he looked at the weaknesses before he took over, and made changes to make us better ( good intentions) but realises he imbalanced us and made us worse, and we lost some games. seems hehas adapted his philosophy again.
Made a change, got it wrong, moved on, not dwelled on it, learned a lesson, improved us. Carry on like that boss please
Oh, and it’s a nine for me

Hard one positives 3 centre backs , Campbell , players clearly putting the effort in , leaving cundle out , less so burger situation was naive when Thomson can play there , Campbell needs someindxalkngside him so I’d say 7. At that point but he got the breaks so 8

9. We did everything we needed to. Won away against a team in decent form at the other end of the table and picked up points that should give the players confidence.

9. Made the right call on the starting 11. Kept the tactics nice and simple.
Players all seemed up for it and together.

7. OK performance - nothing more - and yes, a vital win but we're still dans la merde. Baffling decision not to start Manhoef, baffling line ups being something Schumacher is a master of.

10. Finally realised he doesn't need to bring 1970's Brazil football to get fans on side (haven't seen anything approaching that since BMX v Man C anyway). Need points over flair, even a scrappy win (with an OG) will do at this stage.

10. Risk to match them up but paid off and they clearly underperformed as a result after a long unbeaten run. Making games scrappy is what we need at this stage - impressive management.

I wonder if now we’re seeing results players are buying in more now and we’ll continue to build.
It wasn’t pretty, but we stifled them brilliant (bar one lapse in defending) and could easily have been 5 (Campbell, Ennis & Hoever chances).

9 for pragmatism, set up and getting the fight back into the players for the last 3 games. It’s taken times for him to find that the “talented” players aren’t so talented after all and has temporarily adjusted the game plan to keep us competitive.
Well done playing Campbell to give us an outlet up front which was a thankless task on his own but worked. As he said not pretty and not how he wants to play but needs must

Solid 8. Good team selection, lads worked arddd, and we looked the better side over the duration. Preston away is a tough place to go tbf.
Shame we couldnt score one in the first half with some of the counter attacks we had.
Good team performance in all.
