Causing problems for Rangers fans in Lisbon and 2 Brighton fans stabbed in Rome. Really are a bunch of shithouse supporters, covering their faces and always in numbers.

Surprised they had 2 European games in the space of two days in Lisbon. Not as spread out and as big of a city as some. Can imagine Rangers would have taken a few also and Italians tend to travel well. If it was two teams with small support would have been understandable

Anyone who went to any of the Anglo-Italian games in the 90's will know what a bunch of shithouses a percentage of Italian fans are, slashing people from scooters, 12/15 Italians ambushing 2/3 people as they walk back to their hotel. In Turin in 2000 I watched groups of 20 England fans running 100+ Italian hooligans all round the city which sums them up.....

I wonder if the Italians will get a blanket club ban from European competition for 4 or 5 years off the back of continual incidents like this.......

I was in the Hellas Verona away end in a big relegation clash last season. Good job I spoke some Italian or I was buggered! On reflection it was a dumb idea on my part but the Lecce home end was sold out! Saw some absolute psychos, Nazi salutes all over the place!

Bloody cowards. Always have been. If they aren't whizzing past on a scooter and stabbing you they're hitting you with a belt.

The big lad walking through the middle calmly getting a bin or something smacked over his head and nonchalantly carrying on walking is actually quite impressive đ What a bunch of overgrown kids though, dear oh dear đ

I've been to watch both Lazio and Roma at the Stadio Olympico, most recently Roma last October and the ground and general location is lairy as fuck. It is a good 4 miles outside the centre with no metro stations nearby and isn't a place I would fancy making my own way to as an away fan. Unbelievable atmosphere though.
I agree with BHP that the centre of Lisbon is not very big compared to other major European cities so having 2 sets of away fans in town was bound to lead to problems.

Mesmerising to watch particularly when a group manage to pull it off in unison synchronised swimming style đ

Caught the bus near Termini to near the stadium when I went dropped you on other side of the river, enjoyed a few drinks around Ponte Milvio before which had a good atmosphere but apparently where away fans get 'ambushed' so wikipedia tells me anyway.

Roma fans tried it with Stoke when we played them in a friendly in Austria. They bit off more than they could chew.
