" DAD we made the mistake of selling Jacob Brown " On way back from Bardiff.
What I'd give for his hardwork right now ...

It wouldn’t make a scrap of difference. Ennis works hard and he’s very similar to Brown

Remember when we sold Walter’s and Whelan in 2017 and thinking, shit, this could go badly wrong.
Brown leaving was reminiscent of that, the last of our hard working, run through a brick wall, players.

Dozens of consecutive horrendous decisions over the last 7 years leaves us in our current position. If we go down and continue to allow JC to make the decisions then I am sorry to say Division Two is not an Impossibility.

Awaiting BO to say he was slow, weak, over rated and 75443 other things about JB

Brown was an excellent player for us and was given his shot at the top level as reward for his efforts.
We got a decent fee for him and I don't think that there was any way that we could have stopped him moving on. What could we realistically offer him?

Effort wasn't the problem and Brown wouldn't have made the difference, we lack quality and creativity. Decision making is also an issue, that last free kick was ridiculous.

Christ. Not another thread on Brown. He was extremely limited for Stoke, and didn’t do much beyond running around a bit and giving daft fouls away. He’s done bloody well for himself to get a move to the big time, but don’t let the cloud the generally average performances he put in during his time up Stoke.
No one was sayin “ay, that Brown is prem quality” when he delivered nowt when here.

We didn't make a mistake in selling him. We got decent money for him and he got an opportunity in the Premier League.
The mistake we made was not replacing him properly.

If Brown was better than our current forwards…and he was…we are totally screwed. I liked JB but he was not a great forward…yes he ran a lot but so does my Labradoodle.

He'd be one of the first names on the team sheet ATM effort, endeavor and selfless running for the team, o and he also scored goals. It's no surprise he was picked up and look who's laughing now ..he's possibly staying in the premier league and we'll be very lucky to stay in the championship at this rate,I know where id rather be as a player and you wouldn't want him back ?? ffs

At least he chipped in with the odd goal what the fuck have our forwards done this season?

Brown would be our top scorer. There’s not a shadow of doubt about that.

Brown would be our top scorer. There’s not a shadow of doubt about that. Which is really depressing given how limited he is.

Brown would be our top scorer. There’s not a shadow of doubt about that. Wouldn’t have been hard. He would have pissed 5 goals this season.
