The goalkeepers attempt for both goals was incredible!

We’ve got no good goalkeepers or defenders have we? The only reason we’re not being battered every game is because the league in general is so poor. It’s so depressing.

We have good players but we don't have a good team. Correction: we have a bad, very bad, very very bad team structure, which appears to have no kind of 'help each other' ethos build into it.

I’d play Bonham next game- or do we have an arrangement that loan players have to play in the majority of games

My God that's a hard watch for any Stoke fan. I've kept quiet for a long time now but it's becoming clear that we have a team that has been prepared to play the Vale.
There is no possible way that so many managers can ALL be so bad , destroying their career with us . The problem is and always has been the owners. Don't get me wrong I think they are the same as me owning it , their hearts are in the right place but their ability to run the club is pathetic.
For Gods sake John let someone run the club who knows what they are doing. Shove your "Fan's Area" where the sun doesn't shine, it's pointless when the team is so bad. Don't spend another penny on pretty projects that don't improve the team as Improving the team is all ANY fan would ask of you. They would sit in the car park on a stool if we had a team they could be proud of.

I now understand why Iverson couldn't get a game for Leicester, ffs please play Bonham for the rest of the season. Mind you any goalkeeper has to be at the top of his game with the gutless clowns he has in front of him

Jones - Luton ended up promoted when he left Neil - Sunderland improved Schumacher - Plymouth improved The simple fact is we hire poor quality managers who either lack experience, technical knowledge, man management skills or a winning mentality. Good managers aren’t cheap, we want cheap.

Is it me, or was that Laurent rebound header a really, really good chance? he even took the time to pick his spot.

The highlights show two goalkeeping errors giving Cardiff a lead.
Then we play good football and create plenty of chances.
Stick with the manager.

The first goal is definitely offside. (Still shit defending and goalkeeping though)
The second is all on Thompson, even if Wilmot and Iversen didn't do well. Horrible positioning and reaction to being caught out.
Cundle was awful losing possesion several times, but also set up Junho for the FK leading to the goal.
That pass from Million to Ennis (who then missed badly after having a nice first touch) was something I haven't seen in years. 10 out of 10.

I missed the opening goal yesterday.
I thought the 2nd one was bad but jeez. That’s a shocker from about 3 or 4 of them. In first 5 minutes as well. Talk about giving them a leg up 🤷♂️

Christ, it actually looked like Laurent meant to head what was a very presentable chance right into the keepers hands.
Up the other end they score that easily no doubt.
Ennis was a decent chance too at 1 -0.
The 2 goals we conceded were the usual horrific mess of defending and goalkeeping of late.
In summary..we are wank at the 2 things that matter.

Since he has left they have improved. Jones again had a lot of it handed to him from the previous manager. Neither have successfully built a team from nothing.

The header by Laurent was absolutely shocking. It took more skill to place it where he did than to score. Quality player.

Not sure how you blame Thompson , Junior lost the ball in central midfield they just play it to where he should have been, Wilmot does nothing to put Grant off and the keeper goes down like he is playing in an over 60's game. Thompson is involved in the first with a shocking header before iverson and cundle get in each others way and Ennis and Laurent have to score all basic errors which sums up why we are where we are same old shite

Yeah, I mixed the goal up with the chance where Caulwell shot straight at Iversen after Thompson gave Bowler the time and space of a universe to get forward and inwards.

Neither have successfully built a team from nothing.[/quote] Who has ? I'm just thinking Ancelotti, Guardiola, Klopp, Mourinho, Pulis...none of these all time greats ever "built a team from nothing"... Perhaps they did in the old Eastern bloc.
