It really does seem like that and it has done for along time now for me.Maybe our lack of quality means we don’t penalise teams in the same way but it really does seem we get punished everytime

The problem is that those mistakes are so big it's easy to capitalize!

We make so many mistakes during games, that we are bound to get punished.
Why do we make lots of mistakes, simple really, most of our players are utter crap.

When did we last capitalise on a mistake made by the opposition. I’ll wait !

The problem is that those mistakes are so big it's easy to capitalize! Shouldn't have been that easy to be honest with Hoever's mistake yesterday. Yes he conceded possession in a dangerous area but it wasn't as if there wasn't time and opportunity for others to stop the certain goal. In fact Rose's in the first fifteen minutes was just as deserving of being punished but he got away with it.

In Schuey's first game we got away with a massive McNally blunder right at the death

Every team in this league makes the same sort of mistakes week in & out that we do, we make one a game, the issue being other teams recover from there error, we do not have the tools to do so with ours.

I don’t think that other teams make as many mistakes. We are simply too casual, too often.

We don't exploit the mistakes of others.

On Saturday, it took ten minutes for us to give the ball away onnthe edge of the box, fail to prevent a cross from the left (again), fail to defend the far post properly and give Coventry three shots at goal from six yards out and we still didn't concede.

I don't think we do or we'd be loosing 10 or 12 nil every week.

That was a big mistake too, but I don't think there was time to do much for the others when Hoever made his usual mistake. In fact we do have too many players making easy mistakes over and over again, Hoever and Wilmot are the biggest culprits, but Rose and McNally certainly make their fair share of them as well! For next season we need two new central defenders and a new left back, all 3 of them to be a part of our best first 11!

I cant be arsed looking it all up - but it appears to me that when the oppo have what is coined on sporting life as a "big chance" they almost always score. Which suggests are defensive fuck-ups are almost always fatal. Part of this for me is down to how very few times our keepers have got us out of the shit. Our XG appears to be made up of numerous 10% chances over the course of a game whereas oppo xg seems to be fewer opportunities, but much bigger ones.
