The likes of Hoever always have a mistake in them. It's why, if you're the manager and playing to not give goals away and nick one yourself, you tell the players exactly what they have to do with the ball.
At right back for instance, you don't dribble the ball across the defence to try and look for a pass because there's real danger you'll lose it and give the opposition an easy chance to score a goal.
Schumacher's woken up too late to the grind it out and stay up mentality and him and the players are having to go from some Harlem Globetrotters mentality to a solid defensive setup and it's unlikely to work, especially when clean sheets and nicking goals aren't likely.
It's great to have non-negotiables in terms of effort but you've got to have some in a footballing sense as well and that includes not twatting about 30 yards from your own goal. It's basic, Hoever can't do it for 90 minutes and the same applies to quite a few of our squad.
At least it was this week and not next week but fucking hell, we are in the shit big time.

That was one of the most depressing home games in a while. Absolute shite It's groundhog day. The manager has shat himself. Playing for a draw at home is never acceptable. To then lose said game when you haven’t tried to win is sheer cowardice. And they got clapped off for losing. Well done lads. Mind blowing.

I don't think he was playing for a draw; I think he was playing to win 1-0. But we have fuck all up front and the defenders are collectively going to make a mistake which gives the opposition an easy chance to score every game. It's suicidal football.

When players can’t even pass a ball 5 yards to a teammate then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong….. that is the absolute BASIC of football
I witnessed this at least 6 times today to the point of just grinning to myself and shaking my head
That what a coach should be coaching first off….. I don’t a flying how boring it is, if you can’t do that right then you shouldn’t be a PROFESSIONAL footballer
It’s fuckin ‘Pooldam’ stuff is what it is

That was one of the most depressing home games in a while. Absolute shite This, I don't get this "but Coventry are sixth" argument either. They were poor. No wonder we rarely win. Grateful for shite!
