I'm sure he'll tell us the whole plan....just as soon as he works out what it is. I think I'm just going to spend the duration of the game having a lie down in a dark corner, it's less stressful. I can then check the result afterwards and pretend not to care. Yes, that's MY whole plan. Fair Enough

It’s a diamond isn’t it with 5 at the back and 1 up front?
Not particularly attacking, but we need a point here and onto the next. Resting some key players.

If we don’t get a positive result the manager is wholly responsible.

Iverson and McNally are injured.
Apparently Burger is only fit enough for the bench.
Ennis not able to play three games in a week.
There are still a LOT of changes there and no consistency.

Assume the lack of McNally and Junior not being 100% meant he’s had to change formation?

If we don’t get a positive result the manager is wholly responsible. Not for the first time recently. I’m very quickly slipping into Schumacher Out territory.

This seems to me like he’s compromising on any principles and he’s just going to dig out a close 0-0. But as we know they score its game over

Looking on the bright side, Mark Robins will be echoing the above posters exactly. He can throw his 'how to outwit Schuhmacher" plan right out the window.
To be honest I'm not surprised that Burger is rested. He's looked very tired in both of his last games, where he's been subbed off both times.
On a different note, on a day when SS appears to have sought high and low to find someone who didn't need resting, and when Mmaee's suspension still stands, Ty Campbell still can't even get a place on the bench.

Even Nigel Johnson laughed when he read the team out.
Baffling.

This could be Leicester again if he’s set us up to nullify their attack and try and sneak something… though with the attacking options I can’t see that being anything other than giving Coventry the ball back.
He needs to get a consistent starting XI together ASAP

I think that it is becoming very clear who Schumacher thinks is a "bad egg" or is not up for the fight.
