Not going to Ninian Park for the second leg because I was in the middle of my GCSEs and my dad said no. Had a feeling something would happen and I’d been to 90% of games that season. Should’ve just gone anyway and been grounded for the final. Had my mate telling me all about the mental on the walk to school the morning after. Gave my tickets away about 1pm Had been to every game that season . Couldn't bear to see us lose there A couple of years later was chatting the Clive Clarke about it. He said Kavanagh turned around and said to the Stoke players in the tunnel- you shouldn't have bothered turning up lads. Stoke team talk done !

Any regrets in life/ biggest regret? I don't think! I have many, But I wish I'd have seen Elvis in the 70s What are your regrets?
Absolutely loads of music ones, off the top of my head ...
Not going to see Frank at the Albert Hall, when my Dad offered me (I was grown up by then) a ticket because his girlfriend was ill. Not going to Spike Island to see the Roses, when all my mates were piling into cars in the pub car park where we drinking that afternoon ... I told them it was bound to be wank and ultimately it was but I still (obviously) wish I had gone. My Dad stopping me from going to Knebworth in 79 because he thought I was too young, even though the older lads who lived next door to us, said they'd look after me. My Mum asked my what I wanted for my 15th birthday, and I asked her for tickets to watch Blondie at the Manchester Apollo but she ended up getting me tickets to watch Lindisfarne at the Manchester Apollo the following night because Blondie was sold out!
That still looks like it's from The heart of glass? One of my regrets also. Clems drumming on dreaming was something worth the ticket money alone

Missed seeing The Sex Pistols in Newport, Shropshire before they were 'very big'!
