Anyone from Plymouth and below can get relegated we need to beat results of the teams around us but can’t see where the next points are coming from

People shouldn't underestimate Sheff Wed either. They've done decent since changing manager in December and have 13 points from their last 9 games. In that sequence they've played mostly top half sides too. I can see them staying up.

Us and Millwall are the out of form teams.
We need another win soon and fast.

More erratic changes for the next game.
Mad Nath mark 2
We won’t win enough to survive with SS at the helm.
No goal threat shaky defence players with no composure that can’t complete simple passes

QPR winning today puts us firmly in the shit again

I can only see us getting between 5 to 10pts for the remainder. I think we can forget QPR they are in form and improving and will get more points than us.
Our only hope is if Sheff Wed have an average end to the season and Millwall don't win another game.
Big 2 games coming up against Bardiff n Boro - lose both of them then we could be in the relegation zone with an away trip to Leeds to come, possibility of double figures in that and confidence totally shot - I can't see where a point is coming from in March looking at the fixtures.
Plymouth our last home game - bet they would love to relegate us given the circumstances.

Think now it's not just about picking up the points but ensuring we do so against the teams in and around us - we have 4 of them left to play - that being Huddersfield, Plymouth, Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday. Those are the games we absolutely have to win, not just to give ourselves points but deny them the points too - if they all have less points then the marker for survival should theoretically be lower, so 12 points from that would leave us on 47 - which would mean we would probably need a single win and the odd draw from the other 9 games. Worrying thing is, those games, against other teams fighting for their lives are exactly the games we don't show up for. Add to that our complete lack of goal threat, our propensity for gifting the opposition shit goals out of nothing and the constant wholesale changes from one week to the next meaning theres no real prospect of us beginning to really click, and I'm struggling to see us getting more than maybe a handful of points between now and the end of the season.

After todays results - I don't think mid 40s is going to be enough.
Really could be the 50pt mark this year - we are truly fecked - can't see where the next point is coming from with the current setup - Thompson at LB again was unforgivable

Of course there are some games remaining where these teams ( including ourselves) will get points as we will be playing each other

All the other clubs in the relegation battle will be saying Stoke won't hit 45 so anything north of that will be good enough.
For us, due to teams around us getting points more often than not, we're well and truly screwed unless we hit the 50 point mark imho.
So essentially 15 points from 12 games. I think we're down.

It’s not Thompsons fault he’s been selected to play there It's not his fault he's the best LB we've got even though it's not his preferred position either. Well we have sacked the guy who put us in that mess. Disagree though, I would rather us stick a proper defender in there - even if that means playing a central defender in that position - Thompson is a disaster. Manager needs moving on this week, otherwise he will keep playing Thompson there and Cundle/Iversen will keep getting games - all three equals certain relegation. Just played a team who hadn't scored a home goal this year - until we arrived with our comedy defending

Ally McCoist commentating on live match atm discussing team set up, personnel etc “2 most important players should be goalkeeper and centre forward - build your team to compliment them”

So the current one didn't resolve it either. Although to blame the manager for that is probably outdated. Its Tricky Ricky and Dublin who are to blame for that most likely. Our defence is one of the worst I've ever seen us have. But Thompson probably does better than the rest of the defence most games.

How many points for survival now - not sure results could have been any worse in the last couple of weeks - Leeds and Leicester letting us down today.
Rotherham look down and, for me, it is two teams from 7 above Rotherham - which 2 are going to sink and finish on a low tally or are we looking at 50pts plus this year for safety.
Good win for us today, but this normally means sit back for a month and pack in.
11 cup finals, got to be up for every one of them and for every minute - with goal difference looking like it could be important we can't fold if we are 3-0 down, like we did against Leicester, got to keep fighting for every goal and point.
Hopefully Leeds wont dint our goal difference too much in the next game - got to keep going in that that game no matter what the score
