It’s the 4th time we’ve had Mr Kitchen this season and I have to say on the whole he’s one of the better refs in the championship and I think he’ll be on the Select Group One list pretty soon. Made me laugh at the end when he blew for full time just as Pearson lunged into Steve Cook😊Cook seemed like he wanted to react but they were soon cuddling each other

The best refs for me allow the game to flow with very little bookings unless necessary. He did all that

Best Ref we've had at home this season

8 minutes? I didn’t like him, thought he definitely favoured the London club with many of his decisions.

There were quite a few times he waved play on after a foul on the Stoke players.Yet gave QPR a lot of free kicks whenever they went to ground.

He did let the game flow, and wasn't super-biased, but I still think we should have gotten a few more free kicks. The one he blew for handball on Thompson after he was hacked down was ridiculous.

The liner on the west stand side was hopeless and made (and missed) some key decisions - not a great performance although it was entertaining seeing a few of our lot losing it !!!

The time added on was ridiculous, first half should’ve been at least 3, second no more than 5. And there was some laziness regarding where they took their throw ins from, but compared to other refs he was one of the better ones in that regard and on the whole.

I thought he was decent - time added on was as stretch but both teams wasted time (and he only added 1 min first half)
He didnt react to both their forwards clutching their faces and rolling round - one second half I'm sure was because he didnt fancy tracking back! Ref let the game go on and pretty much told the lad to get up when the game naturally stopped. Big lad up top went down a few times holding his head and was ignored as it was obvs feigning!
Only wish he had pulled Chair up when taking corners - first half on one by B19 he walked over, sorted/styled his hair, checked his shinpads, sorted his socks....thought he was going to have a brew at one point!
10 subs though, I appreciate some bunched together but the rule/law is 30s per sub, and lets face it, towards the end our guys were walking off as slowly as possible!

Thought he was good, made far less mistakes than the players around him. Why do players now fall over clutching legs, heads, bodies get a free kick, no not receive treatment get up rearrange there shin pads and run off. Just cheat to win an advantage.

Best ref we have had all season.
Given how low the bar is with the standard of officiating, it's not that difficult to be the best.

He was ok I suppose, but if QPR had scored in the 8th minute of stoppage time he would have been a very big bastard.

I thought he did OK let the game go and didn't blow for some hard challenges and didn't fall for the play acting.

Meh. If he's one of the better ones (which he probably is) just goes to show the state of the rest.
Going against the liner for the throw. The free-kick against Thompson (he seemed to indicate the QPR player got the ball but failed to notice he went through the back of him first!). 8 minutes fine - but it's ridiculously inconsistent. Allowing them to time waste to the extent they did first half whilst telling Ennis off for walking too slowly off the pitch.

Thought he was just less crap than the others, but still essentially crap.
All you want is consistency for both teams, whether that is good or bad... no refs seem capable of this and I don't know why it is so bloody difficult for them... they are getting paid for the clown show they create with zero accountability.

Thought he was good for 60 mins, was consistent in not blowing up for fouls for both sides. He then started to give them decisions that he’d not deemed as fouls before and wasn’t reciprocating for us. No harm done though.

Me and a lad next to me commented that he was having a good game on the whole in the first half, albeit I'm sure Jun-ho got fouled on the edge of their box and was defo a free kick to us he waved play on to..
But then as the second half went on our opinions started to change, as others have alluded to he appeared to start to give QPR the benefit of the doubt in situations that were either 50/50 or more so fouls in our favour!
He did let the play flow more granted, & certainly wasn't card happy as some refs would have been.
The 8mins added time in the 2nd half was contentious & appeared unnecessary, 6mins max that should have been. I was suprised he only awarded 1min extra time in the first half, especially with all the QPR time wasting that was occuring. Albeit by then as we'd scored on 45mins it was actually in favour to have less added time as gave us chance to go in with the lead at H-T
Definitely as someone's mentioned, on a level that's slightly less crap than the usual dross we have!

Let's face it, the officials in this league are generally not very good, probably due to all the senior ones sitting behind a var screen. This guy was ok but I can't stand it when a player goes down, refuses treatment, but then stays on the ground, holding up the game. Ref should have just told us to restart and leave him (Chair) lying on the turf...even worse, the time wasn't added on, unless he was saving it for the end of the game!?
I know refs are told to try and keep the game flowing but some of the stuff he let go early doors was borderline yellow card, akin to the old style "reducers"...surely a bad foul is a bad foul whichever minute of the game you are in?
