thought schumacher brought his own goalkeeper coach in,he must not be to good at his job Again that returns to the question of whether any of the goals conceded have been savable. I think they haven't been, unless you're Oblak, Courteois (when fit) or Allison who make exceptional saves, either because they have supreme instincts or just happen to be in the right place nearly all the time. There's probably nothing the greatest goal coach can teach them, apart from bigging up their egos from time to time. Similarly there's limited coaching Stoke gk coach can teach to save unsavable goals.

I’ve been told today that we have made an enquiry for Rotherham’s keeper Viktor Johansson, he has a clause in his contract if (when) they get relegated that he can leave for quite a low fee. Iversen has come to start games but hearing this tells me that SS is not looking to keep hold of him going forward and probably doesn’t rate him.

Was thinking about it on the coach on the way home after Saturdays shambles, and that watching Iversen from right behind the goal he doesnt look like he will save anything at all Since he came: 5 games (4 league, 1 cup) 1 clean sheet, conceded 12 goals in the others Excluding the cup game, he has faced 14 shots so far in the 4 league games and conceded 8, saving 6 (43%) - thats fairly appalling? Admittedly he is behind a shambles of a defence but still.... I'm not a huge Bonham fan, but compare JBs stats of 13 league matches 5 clean sheets 59 shots faced, saved 41 (69.5%), conceded 14 (Travers 13 games, 67 shots faced, 49 saves (73%), 18 goals conceded) The shitshow of our defence and keeper is truly a horror - but I'm not convinced Iversen is any better than what we had! I thought he would be a large commanding figure in the area (the stuff that Bonham is fairly poor at), but he isnt. Distribution is poor (as is JBs). Slow off his line. Another loan player that hasn't improved us at all Would have been better with Asmir Begović.

Probably the best Iversen is not worth the money Leicester will want for him. I for one am not impressed with him at all.

I mean it’s not his fault is it? Pretty much every goal he’s conceded has been as a result of terrible defending and a point blank shot hasn’t it? He must be absolutely fuming he’s keeping for this side

I'd rather have Bonham, that's how underwhelmed I am by Iverson.

New consistent keeper with Harry Souttar (season loan) in front of him would do a lot to solve our problems for next season.

That’s right we promised to play him that’s how we ended up getting the loan done. The Rotherham keeper looks decent he just has a poor team in front of him, I’ve heard a few hundred grand so it’s not a massive risk. Shame we didn’t get Travers back he was absolute top drawer.

Iversen has been totally underwhelming, but then again he has barely played for however long and been thrown into a team in disarray. The only silver lining is if (and a big if) he gets better the more he plays. Not sure that is going to happen though...

It’s a tough choice. Iverson’s shot stopping stats are dreadful, balance that with the state of our defence (and in particular weak as piss centre halves). Is Bonham better? Not sure at all. I think I would stick with Iverson so long as his confidence isn’t shot from the frequency he is the last man standing while our defence watches on.

Don’t know whether or not there’s any truth in it but Southgate is looking at Butland following his performances for Rangers

With our defenders we need 3 goalkeepers to play in goal at the same time.

Remember when we signed Iverson and a Leicester fan rang into Praise and Grumble raving about him! He said we've got one hell of a keeper. 😂

Doesn’t help having the Marx brothers in front of you trying to defend.

From the first game I saw Iverson you could see he was absolute garbage.
Bonham far better keeper and he’s far from perfect.
Shocking managerial decision to play Iverson, add it along with Cundle and quite a few others he’s made.

Where I sit quite a lot don’t have an issue with him and think he’s least of our worries. Most don’t understand the hate he gets, saved us a few times this season. Iverson reminds me of an outfield player having to go in goal.

Spot on , has Iversen made a save since he's been here. Some were saying after a couple of games he hadn't stood a chance with any of the goals he conceded .I think he's quite frankly rubbish.

I don't think it helps the defence either, chopping and changing keepers. I'm not saying they'd be any less atrocious but at least they could build that relationship. Bonham will likely be number 1 in league 1.

Bonham is the better keeper and didn't deserve the drop. Wouldn't be the first time he's been dropped to a "upgrade." I'd have subbed him in at half Iversen is so out of it.

Only one keeper has impressed me in this league and that’s Rotherham’s.
The rest are all much the same and Bonham fits in that pile.
Iverson on the other hand is in a league of his own.
