I had some of my best memories watching his ‘shit’ football That's because his football was some of the best we've ever played. Give me a solid back four with Etherington and Pennant on the counter attack every week until the end of time. They might be a bit old now… ;-)

Laurent hasn’t turned up all season. Club captain I think your missing the fact our recruitment has lowered the bar he is about standard championship midfielder but that makes him better than any we have signed recently Maybe I am missing something. But I know he’s not played that well in a stoke shirt all season and couldn’t even get in the side under Neil because of his performances as our elite leader. Pearson, Junho and burger were the main players in the 4-3-3 Pearson and Johnson seem to have checked out since Neil has left.

Because it doesn’t work in this era and we don’t have any actual wingers for a start. The only thing we have that would make a 442 possible is Burger and Pearson in the cage. Every other component of TP’s successful 442 is missing. 433 doesn’t work for us either mate Thinking about it no other system does

So TP football was boring at times but very direct and always in a game it was definitely a case of £be careful what you wish for" and look what we have since apart from a brief courtship with a few prima donnas until the wheels came off and no backbone to get us out of trouble - because some dickhead had had got rid of the spine including Huth, Whelan, Walters etc

I'm not sure that this 'adoration' is reciprocal from John Coates. I always thought that he was in the Scholes camp and probably instrumental in getting Pulis ousted.

FFS . Tony Pulis hasn’t managed in years, his football was shit to watch, he isn’t, never was the saviour, we need forward thinking, young dynamic people in the club, that’s why we are struggling so much. MODERNISE STOKE I had some of my best Stoke memories watching his ‘shit’ football You know what so did I, and I’m sorry if Tony read my comments and thought it was a criticism. I’m just sick and tired of people suggesting he’s the answer now because he isn’t. If SS is standing up to pre Madonna footballers then good on him, it’s what Pulis would do too. We can’t change the players now so let’s hope SS can manage the situation we are in. That’s his job and why he gets paid so well.

Pre Madonna footballers would be in their 70’s now.
Just saying.
