www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/blackburn-stoke-city-live-stream-9089974Team news: Eight changes for StokeSteven Schumacher has made eight changes for Stoke City at Blackburn Rovers in response to last week's home thrashing by Leicester. Daniel Iversen returns in goal behind a back four of Junior Tchamadeu, Lynden Gooch, Luke McNally and Ben Wilmot, Wouter Burger, Daniel Johnson and Bae Junho are in midfield and it is a front three of Andre Vidigal, debutant Million Manhoef and a first start for Niall Ennis, against the club who sold him last week. Only Wilmot, Gooch and Burger keep their places from last weekend. Manhoef comes straight in after being granted a work permit this week. He joined in the final hour of deadline day and did not get the green light in time to be included against Leicester. Ennis had helped Plymouth Argyle to promotion under Steven Schumacher last season and joined Blackburn as a free agent in the summer, but his fortunes at Ewood Park were hindered by niggling injuries and he never got regular minutes under Jon Dahl Tomasson. Tomasson, ironically, has left Blackburn this week. Former Stoke captain John Eustace was appointed as his replacement last night and will take his place in the dug out this afternoon. Stoke: Iversen, Tchamadeu, Gooch, McNally, Wilmot, Burger, Junho, Johnson, Vidigal, Manhoef, Ennis.Subs: Bonham, Pearson, Baker, Campbell, Thompson, Hoever, Wesley, Haksabanovic, Cundle.

Interesting that Cundle has been dropped but apart from that not a bad team selection.

Surprised at Johnson over baker. But that’s probably the team I would have gone with and is probably our best 11 aside from Johnson. You got to hope from a win from this with this team.

Interesting side that. Only concern is will they be playing like strangers with 8 changes. Fair play though he’s certainly going for it.

I'd have gone Lowe instead of Wesley on the bench.
Not too many goals sitting on the bench.
Let's hope all those changes can make a difference.

Interesting no centre-back on the bench.
God knows what the point of Clark is.

There were always going to be lots of changes after last week, but we’re again at a stage of “have these lot ever actually played together” when we can’t really afford to be at that point.
I pray it comes off, but it could equally go badly wrong if players are unsure of what they’re supposed to be doing. Hopefully they’ve had a proper week of graft down at the training ground this week and we put a performance in.

Johnson is playing to double up with Goochy against Dolan. Good line up let's hope it's rewarded.
