Rowett and Jones. Let those two sink names in for a second. STILL feeling the aftereffects of those horrible decisions and it's greatly hampered our ability to find that unicorn who will score goals.
Financially, greatly affected in a positive way by MON, but no positive effect on the pitch. On the pitch is waiting for the next Haley's Comet, Hale Bop, World War III or something we've yet to identify. Think someone buried Chuckie under our centre cirtle.

We have to accept that there a very small number of Managers capable of turning the shit show that is Stoke City around. It’s like asking surgeon after surgeon to perform heart surgeries with plumbers tools. Our recruitment is a clown show. I would sack Tricky Martin tonight. John Coates should step down and employ a competent CEO. The jury is out on SS man management already. Today’s selection and rapid fire substitutions of players who shouldn’t have been initially picked was alarming. This has literally every classic ingredient of a club hurtling towards relegation. Zero Leadership, Terrible Form, Can’t score, Can’t defend. I think we are done. I've seen this suggested on here several times but it doesn't ever really seem to have any logic to me ...
If he's rubbish at appointing managers and he's rubbish at appointing director's of football (is that Martin's official title?), then what makes you think he's going to be any more successful at appointing somebody to replace himself? ————————————————————————————- Maybe employ a CEO who has actual proven experience of running a moderately successful Football Club, either in the U.K. or abroad. It’s not something that needs over thinking. It doesn’t need to be him who selects the candidate. We have a board I assume?

The Board comprises of: Himself- His Father and His Brother-in-Law. Exactly. Leave the appointment of a new CEO to the other Two.😁 But seriously, He is the common denominator in every one of our failings over the last 7 years. He just has to step down.
