Pretty good summary. Only obvious bit of misinformation was insinuating Macari was sacked during the first season at the Brit; otherwise an accurate summary of the last few decades. When the financial side is put as bluntly as he does it's amazing we've got away without points deductions. We're the Man City of the Championship without any of the success or good football.

I reckon he's pretty much spot on. The number of previously good players who have turned into steaming piles of sh*t once they pull on a Stoke shirt is embarassingly lengthy. Similarly players who leave, then go to be real successes elsewhere. What is the root cause, maybe too much money and zero pressure on players?

Doughty Tymon Brown Harwood Bellis Harry Clarke Jack Clarke Tuanzebe Delap Smallbone Sterling Sima Ostigard Sawyers Bidace At the club during our time in the Championship. All at clubs above us in the league or playing for a better club/league. Apart from Sawyers I’d have any of them back now.
