When do you go to sleep?
Since it's always so grave quiet here early in the evening I've realised I must be the one who goes to sleep latest of them all.
Normally between 23.30 and 02.00.

I normally have a preparatory snooze on settee at about half 8 - formally go bed for 11-12 - wake up at 3 needing a piss then lie awake until 7am wondering how to train my buttocks to channel farts around corners.

I’m a night owl, always have been. Hate going to bed early. I like to feel like I’ve had a long evening to myself before turning in. Most nights I won’t have gone to bed before 1 a.m., though admittedly I do sometimes end up nodding off on the sofa and then going up at 2 a.m. instead!

Since I’ve retired I get a regular sleep pattern and usually between 11-30 ish and 8-30 ish. Before that when working shifts I was lucky to get 5 or 6 hours.

11pm-12am
Be dog tired, lock up (Mrs R usually in bed for 9.30)
Moment my head hits the pillow my brain suddenly decides to go into overdrive, all sorts of weird and wonderful imagination scenarios, scoring a last minute winner, a test 100, being a superhero, taking out bad guys, occassionally solving some work coding issue (I've actually gotten up and logged on/fixed stuff at 3am in the past), stress about kids, money, work.
I'm the shittest sleeper known to man, get up at 7.30am for work, repeat the next night!

Go to bed between 21.30 and 22.30 week nights and wake up at 05.40. Weekends generally go bed around midnight and up around 10am. I sleep like a log most nights

When a person wakes up has to do with when the alarm goes off, right?!
At least in my case.
If no alarm, seldom before 10.30. Today, on Sunday, I woke up 14.11 (after >12 hours sleep).
No wonder the dentist calls me The Tiger.

Workdays ~ bed 9.15 up at 4am for work. Days off ~ bed 9.30 up at 4am. Hate it but difficult to get out of the habit.

I'm usually in bed somewhere between 9 and 10 on the proviso that I might then be asleep somewhere between 1am and 2am.
If I coud have one super power, it'd be the ability to just go to sleep* when I want, rather than feeling tired but still lying there for hours trying to sleep. It's tourture!
My Lumie gets me up in the morning. An absolute god send - probably the best think I've bought/own.
*Either that, or flying.

Slept from 02:00 to 05:00 this morning, I've been an insomniac since my late teens. It's my New Year's Resolution to try and rectify it this year, I've tried most things but I'm hopeful there's something out there that will help me manage it better. Gets harder as you get older......

Some people sound like Van Winkles off springs.
I sleep about 6.5 hours at the most, go to bed about 23.00 so I'm not awake too early.

Obligatory 3am piss and wide awake thereafter where bizarrely got to wondering why those bouncy cars in hip-hop videos never really became a thing here (would they fail an MOT) and how much it would cost to have them fitted on my Volvo. Then, with a shot of inspiration, what if I got buttock implants and set them up with the same hydraulics! Not only could I bounce my arse across carparks impressing my homeboys and da bitches but I could fart with absolutely monumental swazz in all sorts of curvatures.
Good few hours sleep after solving that conundrum but opens up a fresh can on worms. Unavailable on the NHS unsurprisingly unless I wanted a fanny installed at the same time so await BUPA getting back to me - outside of that sorry lads and lasses but I'll be tapping you on my JustGiving page.

I recommend a powerful sedative 👍 I might add that I'm not medically trained.

Just struggle to switch off at night, brain comes alive.

Never had any problems sleeping. Only time was when I played football on a Saturday or Sunday (or midweek) and I'd maybe struggle to switch off.
Usual bed time is between 10pm and 11pm, and I'll go to sleep between 10pm and midnight, usually closer to 11pm. Will try and get into bed earlier if I'm attempting the gym in the morning, so I can be asleep for 10pm and up for 5.30am.
