Lose the next two and we will be closer to the relegation zone but that in no way will it define our season as a choice between a relegation battle or mid table. For a mid table team points against those teams would be a bonus. It's the points against the bottom half teams that will define whether we are in a relegation battle or mid table. In that sense the Birmingham game was way more important but even though the result was bad the performance was good enough to suggest we are good enough to avoid relegation.

Says it all we are heading for big trouble courtesy of those that ran last summer Going off our last 6 games we are 8th in the form table. If we throw Alex Neil's games in there it will look shite because he was a shite manager. Schumacher is getting a tune out of this team currently and if it continues we will be a solid mid table team come the end of the season. The players look like they are enjoying themselves, the fans are fairly happy, the club is coming together nicely. Teams always play worse under a negative atmosphere and that's not there anymore because most people are starting to feel a buzz again which hasn't happened for a long time. We aren't in trouble, we are moving up. Even if the players we need don't arrive it won't be for the lack of effort from the club it will be because the players we need aren't available at a price we can afford to pay but still there is enough here to keep us around mid table come the end of the season. If we do get the players we need we may look like a top half team, we aren't that far away. Upward momentum also sits with a number fo those below us , i hope your right but ive said all along 50 points remains a long way off when you can’t score and of corpse we also need that to be enough. Games v Plymouth , Sheff wed and QPR will decide it

I can see a last day survival with the manager standing in the stands on a mic in front of a fan covered pitch saying this cant be allowed to happen again Dyche and Lampard style but fingers crossed you glass half full guys are right and we are sitting more comfortable by then
