I like the bit where he says that when Bojan left he said to Marc that they would have to come back to Stoke one day.

Obviously lovely guy, pity his legs kept giving out.
Always remember that brace at Sunderland - what a night!
I also remember the match when we were thrashing Arsenal and Bojan "scored" a fourth. I'm convinced the ref was trying to spare Arsenal's embarrassment. We were making it look too easy to beat them.

Bring him back gotta be better than having Clark on the bench Sounds like post brexit there is very little chance and that at some point he was trying to get back but failed.

What a guy Muni is, absolute top egg.
The kinda guy you’d he delighted for your daughter to marry.

Sounds like post brexit there is very little chance and that at some point he was trying to get back but failed. Danish league now so might be a better chance in the summer If rules blocked his re-entry before, the Lyngby experience isn't going to help. Because he hardly plays for them. I think he's been in 3 games all season (18 games).

I think he's been in 3 games all season (18 games). Had no idea he was there, just checked flashscores and it looks like he's been pretty consistently in the first team tbf, started 3 of their last 4 games, 10 appearances this season. Not that makes any difference to work permit rules unless I'm mistaken.

Absolute travesty that we let him go just to bring in Wimmer. May have been injury prone, but was always a useful squad player and genuinely played for the shirt. Doubt we'll ever see a CB with that sort of technique and finesse down Stoke for a long, long time.
Will always remember his goal against Burnley. I was sat in the family stand with my old man and younger brother, who was still just a lad, and called that he was going to score as he continued his run into the final third, will never forget it. Those truly were the days.

He is a very nice guy. That he is thought of so fondly despite hardly being an ever present for us is testament to the good mood he engenders. And he was a pretty good player when he was fit.
He made a total of 67 appearances in all competitions and scored 3 goals, over 4 seasons! I think people liked 'his' song so much and then he clearly loved being sung about, and so on and so on. Compare that with say, Marc Wilson, who played in 176 games and is hardly thought of in the same way. Funny old game innit?
I hope he does come back some day in some capacity, head vibesman perhaps?

He could start the singing section in the corner. Knows the songs, knows the dances and most importantly knows the club...

It shows 8 starts in the 10 games he has played in the league That's odd because I watched Lyngby several times (on TV) this season and Marc wasn't in the team.

Hughes turns to a back 3 and got rid of the best centre half we had for it.
Absolute fucking madness that period was.
Cracking defender and an awesome footballer.

This genuinely angers me to see how far we’ve fallen. I think we’ve finally dug our pickaxe into the ground with Schuey though, the bleakness is showing signs of clearing. Those years were the best of my life as a Stoke fan to this point.
