Fuck me...we've got some serious talent and flair in the squad now compared to the recent seasons of plodding dross...just need to find a way to make all the moving parts click.

Iverson
Hoever Wilmot Rose Thompson
Burger Cundle Bae
Vidigal Mmaee Haks
McNally shouldn’t be anywhere near the side after his offerings against Brighton.

I think I'd like to see:
...........Iversen Hoever Mcnally Wilmot Thompson ...........Burger .......Baker....Bae Campbell...........Vidigal ..........Mmaee
Cundle on as a sub. Baker has been brilliant since he's come back and deserves to keep his place. And Junho is going to completely take a team apart soon.

I agree about Baker - he's looked like the player we first got hold of since coming back in the side and seems well suited to Schumacher's no 8 role. However rumour has it we are open to offers so other than being in the shop window I'm not sure he's part of the future. Junho does look quality but he's still just a split second too slow at times. Adapt to the pace and I think you are right - he will rip a team apart at some point.

Are Stevens, Gooch and Campbell available? If so I'd go for this team: ....................Iversen................... Gooch.........Wilmot.......Rose.........Stevens .....................Burger................... .............Junho............Baker............. Campbell............Mmaee..............Vidigal Subs from: Bonham, McNally, Hoever, Pearson, Thompson, Cundle, Haksa, Wes. They're not available. Campbell has a chance of being on the bench maybe but that's it........ Thompson in at left back and Hoever to the right as we have no others for the right back position!

Wing backs. Iversen Wilmot McNally Rose Hoever Burger Baker Thompson Bae Mmaee Vidigal Ugh Thompson at wingback still gives me nightmares after MON's experiment! I like trying Burger more defensively, if he's good there then we potentially have a dream midfield 3 in Burger-Bae-Cundle. I'm just going off the hype for Cundle though.

Cundle will not be in the starting eleven Saturday. Thompson will be ok on that left hand side and also cover for Rose's inevitable mishap. Give Bae the centre playmaker with Burger and Baker behind him. Hoever can get up and down the right with Wilmot behind him. Vidigal got the freedom to drift out wide left and then inside. Superb formation.

Definitely want Burger and Bae in CM, what an incredible asset it would be if Burger can do the defensive work too.

Superb formation. Why are you so certain that Cundle won't be in the starting 11? He's been a regular in the Championship of late, scored in his last match and understands what is expected of him in a Schumacher side better than anyone else at the club. Schumacher threw Iverson straight in despite Bonham doing well of late - it doesn't look like he is afraid to upset any perceived pecking order and will back his own judgement on what's needed. I'd be more surprised if he didn't make the starting 11.

I agree re Cundle, he is the first 100% Schumacher player into the building and know what the manager wants after spending g time with him already, I'd be amazed if he didn't start

Are we at a point where we can now call a selection a Team? Or are we still looking at a randomly selected mish mash of incomers who might still struggle to name the guy who is playing alongside them?

Are we at a point where we can now call a selection a Team? Or are we still looking at a randomly selected mish mash of incomers who might still struggle to name the guy who is playing alongside them? Schumacher got thrown in with 4 games in 8 days and no time to do any significant work on the training field but already you can see a change of style. He's had to make we quite a few changes because of injuries and the need to rotate the squad so I'd be surprised if even he knows is best starting 11. In addition we have 2 new players and the possibility of 2 more coming in as well as a few players who were injured when he arrived and he hasn't seen play. Talk of a "team" emerging now is way too early - don't think we will see that until the end of February at the earliest. A work in progress at the moment but at least there are signs of progress already, which is remarkable in the circumstances.

Just shows the mentality is massively important just as much as the personnel. AN had gone into self preservation mode. Let’s hope it never afflicts Schu.

We have to combat their set plays and physicality on their patch if we’re to take 3 points on Saturday. With donkeys like Hugill and Eaves up top and then you add Morrison and Ayala’s height to that also they will cause us problems from set plays for sure. Hopefully our football will do the talking like in the early games of this season

I hope Campbell is fit, for me he starts if so. Yes I know we all think he is a lazy fecker at times, but he is more likely to score than any of the other options!

I have no idea who we should play at the back,we now look decent going forward, although we aint scoring many from open play but it's the defence that makes me cack mesen whenever a team attacks us,there are too many players who can make bad mistakes that lead to us conceding,
With our lack of goals, any goal conceded is a real blow, more so if we concede 1st.

You've certainly have avoided jumping on past bandwagons unlike me. And in this league with the number of matches and the need to rotate players in/out, (If you're smart) not sure that a true "Starting XI" really exists anymore.
