Bonham 6, hardly anything to do. Junior 6, not his best game, but still decent. McNally 6, again good for most of the game, but still makes silly mistakes. Rose 7, played well. Thompson 6, decent but nothing more. Pearson 7, played well. Burger 7, MOM, good again! Junho 6, too little end product. Haksa 6, OK. Mmaee 7, another good game. Vidigal 5, not a good game.
Hoever 5, I really don't see what he brings to the team? Wesley 5, didn't get enough balls played up to him. Johnson 5, didn't impact the game much.

Bonham - 7 , did everything he could well. Junior - 6, pretty ineffectual - early yellow didn't help his game, he is very "handsy" McNally - 7, extra 1 for getting the lad wound up enough to kick off Rose - 6, okay. no honking erros Thompson - 6, was up against blistering pace, felt a little sorry for him Pearson - 6.5, he reads the ball well, but not a player with the ball, tidied up quite a few times Burger - 8, delicious Haks - 7, was on his arse after 60 mins but had been creative before that Bae - 7, I love him. Not everything came off, it won't - because he plays balls that either get you a great chance or get stopped, his energy is something else, tracks back. Vidigal - 6, meh, he flatters to deceive a lot of the time, looks threatening - and then.... just nothing Mmaee - 8, glad that he scored, glad that some people on here might realise pumping long balls at him is a waste of time now and that he's a fucking good footballer
Hoever - 6, didn't think he was as bad as everyone made out Johnson - 5, christ on a bike Baker - 5, will give him a rusty tag to be nice Wesley - 5, brought him on and didn't change our pattern of play, so his physicality wasn't there and his touch is, erm, not great Bob
SS - 7.5, he's already said Mmaee off was a mistake, but needed to keep him fresh. not sure if it was him or the players rushing vs 10, but it was noticeable how un-composed we were
Ref - 7, definite red. thought he let a lot go. I didn't like the corner call for their goal, the lino didn't flag with a full view and the ref overruled. we got the rub of the green with 50/50s

Bonham 6 - Quiet game but was OK, still worries me how he parries the ball in to dangerous areas. Junior 6 - Solid enough. McNally 6 - Decent but with his daily brain fart causing issues. Rose 6 - He's just a CB version of Thompson, a meh player and performance. Thompson 6 - Steady if not spectacular. Pearson 6 - A passenger but did nothing wrong. Burger 7 - Another fine all round performance (MOTM). Junho 5 - Lots of energy but poor game. Haksa 6.5 - Tried to make things happen. Mmaee 7 - Best game in a Stoke shirt. Vidigal 5 - Very poor again.
Subs Hoever 5 - The only positive is getting played less crap than normal, but still don't rate him. Wesley 5 - Not sure he touched the ball. Johnson 5 - See Wesley. Baker 5 - See Wesley and Johnson.

Pearson was outmuscled for the goal, outpaced frequently and lost a tackle he should have won before their centre mid ran past him again to almost scored a screamer but for a fantastic save from Bonham. He also offered zero going forwards. I like Pearson generally but today he was a total liability.

Bonham 8 MoM Would have lost if he hadn't kept us in it with a couple of great saves
Junior 6 ok but showed his inexperience McNally 7 Decent Rose 7 Decent Thompson 7 Did a good job out of position
Burger 8 Everywhere and we lost momentum when he went off Pearson 5 How many times has he lost the ball and sat on his arse moaning while the option set up a dangerous counter attack? JunHo 5 Nothing came off and missed a very good chance to win it
Vidigal 5 Played too wide and pretty ineffectual Mmaee 8 Great goal and good game, unlucky to be subbed but can only assume to save him for Monday Haksabanovic 6 Ok but rarey got past his man
Baker 6 Ok Wesley 5 Didn't contribute much However 5 Caught out of position a lot Johnson 6 Didn't get into the game
We looked very leggy right from the start and it was a very disjointed performance. Will take the point.
Players are being nursed though this congested run of fixtures and with injuries mounting we are looking stretched. Still a work on progress and the players need a rest.

Bonham 8. - once again showed his worth . One terrific save Junior 5. - taken off lest he got another booking and then it’s 10 v 10 Thompson 6. - proved he is our utility man - decent show. Pearson. 5. - agree with post about sitting on his backside moaning. McNally. 7 - steady performance. Rose. 7. steady performance. Burger. 7. Would be my mom but can’t last the full 90 minutes. Bae. 9 - out on his feet at the end . Missed chance but rarely gives the ball away even in the most tightest of spaces - a real talent. Vidigal. 6. Looks more of a threat on the right. Mmaee 8 beginning to show why we bought him Hans. 5. Disappointing.

Bonham 6.5 - steady, thankfully they decided to switch up there corner approach. Has shown himself to a be a capable shot stopper this season, when parrying away from play that is!
Junior 7 - Certainly gives the system that attacking impetus when working out from the back/during transitions/looking to switch. Tracked back, exposed at times but one, I believe, should be given the games so to gather experience. Looks to suit the Schumey approach. Besides all else, good energy. Mcnally 6.5 - In my view he's starting to become trustworthy during play but always seems to loose focus at moments, certainly for set pieces. He is settling, however, and puts a foot in. Rose 6.5 - '' '' Thompson 6.5 - Consistent enough. Do enjoy his assertiveness and looks up, searching for a forward pass when in possession.
Pearson 4.5 - A game with too much pace of which he struggled to handle. From my view, simply seemed a step behind, puffing away and still attempting to callously trip once out witted. Enjoy his gruff approach at moments but not this time around. Burger 7.5 - Starting to show some consistency and certainly seems to relish a quick transition, searching for a key pass to switch, play over the top, force the opposition to quickly reshape. His on-pitch communication and tenacity is always refreshing to witness. Junho 7.5 - Pace & positivity. Quite happy to give him that expressive freedom in their final third. Tracks back! Confidence seems to be growing as he attempting to take on his man on a few more occasions. Shame about his 1on1 but nevertheless he's moving, weaning and linking whenever possible. Haks 7 - Much like Junho but the difference this week being he remains in position rather than tracking back as often. Still, another who looks up, wishes to attack and attempts to link & create. Certainly happier with his inclusion & look forward to seeing more. Hope he remains fit.
Mmaee 9 - Having two wide supports allowing him to flick wide then run on into space to finish seems so obvious now that we have seen it over the past couple of games (I assume many of us have been crying for this all season). Backed into his man with balance & Lovely finish for his goal plus a couple other good attempts. Very pleased to see him raise a few eyebrows - excited each time the ball came his way. Well done, lad. Vidgal 6.5 - Always trying but is out muscled on many occasion and often appears clumsy. Nevertheless, his tenacity and potential is still there to see, I would say.
Subs - Hoever 5 - A liability each time in possession. I Understood the switch as he is far more capable pushing forward as he does have that moment of vision but he just always seems to loose focus, attempt without gumption, allow him man to pass by...frustrate, generally. Wes 5 - Schumey, post match, commented & I agreed. Not today, Wes. Johnson 4.5 - Seemed to lack ball control at moments and didn't add when introduced. Much like Pearson, appeared off the pace and nervous for it. Baker 4.5 - Non existent but I am hopeful the cobwebs will fall...hopeful!
Overview - Positive performance once more. Great to see us remain steady in the face of a bubbling opposition. Lost our way somewhat in the final half an hour, became somewhat nervy but we still managed to earn a point as opposed to scraping it with luck, as it often seemed under Neil. Well done, Stoke - keep it up. But please, can we practise set pieces...I'm running out of pants!! COYP

Apart from Junho’s brilliance there is one other indisputable certainty - Johnson is a complete liability and should be offloaded at the first opportunity
Basically with his introduction yesterday the numerical superiority we had was zeroed out

Im still angry at that second half “performance.” An accumulation of 6 years of abject under performers and acceptance of mediocrity throughout the club has finally bitten for me. We have at least 8 players starting regularly who we should jettison as soon as possible. Like all new Managers who take on this poisoned chalice I fell sorry for SS. I hope he keeps us up and is backed in the Summer.
Hoever, Johnson, Vidigal, Pearson, Laurent, Campbell. Rose, Wesley, Gayle should be expedited out of this club at the first opportunity. There is still a monumental task in front of us. Like I said I am sick to the back teeth of the charlatans who always find fortune and refuge at Stoke. It has to stop now.

Bonham 7 - a couple of good saves that kept us in the game
Junior 7 - we got worse when he came off McNally 6 - looked shaky and lacked the pace for such ahigh line vs. their quick attackers Rose 6 - ditto. Also, he need to stop with the last ditch sliding tackles, he always misses! Thompson 7 - I thought he was quite good, and has more pace than I thought he had
Burger 8 - "covered every blade of grass", and set up the run for the goal. Excellent performance Pearson 6 - not his best game, but saved us a couple of times in defence. Probably at fault for their goal Junho 8 - like Burger he was everywhere both starting attacks and stopping theirs. Should've scored
Vidigal 6 - seems to be getting more confident again. Unlucky not to score Mmaee 8 - great goal and good game Haksabanovic 5 - bit disappointed actually, got lucky with the assist. Didn't track back and help Thompson
Baker 4 - absolutely awful. We lost all tempo and agency when he replaced Burger Wesley 4 - what a waste of space Hoever 6 - Caught out of position a lot, and should have done more when the others tired Johnson 4 - Lost the ball again and again, his worst game for us.
Ref 7 - cheeky performance in our favor for once. Missed a lot of fouls, but let the game flow
With all the starters tiring in the later stages, the players that came from the bench were awful bar Hoever. I'd rather we tried Sidibe and Lowe than Baker and Wesley.
I was impressed by the Chakeladze fellow, and to think he's not a regular starter. He was MOTM by a mile!
