We fully took the piss today and for that it’s a 10.
I imagine fishlovesoatcakes has had the best Boxing Day in memory and good on him.

8.5 Very Good. Still just feel the squad needs a lot of work. Would love to believe he has the tools to improve this lot consistently. Onwards and Upwards.

9 but it’s one game and we’ve seen this many times before, only for it to peter out within weeks.

He brought Gayle on and not him and he can talk to foreign clubs in the window so be great if we can get another loan forward in instead. Left back and a keeper and happy days

10 - I enjoyed watching our patterns of play more than anything we have produced for about 3 years.
Yeah, Birmingham are shit, but that’s a really promising performance.

10. Would have been 15 but he let gayle wear a Stoke shirt again ..Travesty I think he is taking a look at everyone in match day action, and today it was Gayle's turn for a cameo. Doubt it will be repeated and I think he is now injured anyway. Fully expect Lowe to get some minutes next, with or without Gayle injury

9. Well done Schuey.
Genuinely think Birmingham should pull the plug on Rooney. Normally I'd think it would be ridiculous after a couple of months, but their fans seem to have no faith in him, and they hardly had any to start with

10.5 - I like the idea he brought on subs he’s 50-50 on when we’re 2 goals ahead. He probably knows lowes a keeper.

Please can we not call him SS? And certainly never call him 'the SS', it will always be a bit weird and uncomfortable to read. 9 from me, though. He wears hugo boss so clearly embraces it

Has to be a 10. Only had a week and a couple of sessions with the players, but we already look a different team, utilising the talents of Junior and Burger instead of shackling or alienating them. We were bold today, played on the front foot, took the game to Brum and worked for each other both on and off the ball. subs were good too, to rest players and manage the game. Still look a little shaky behind the ball (that will come in time with defenders understanding their roles and maybe a new face or 2 at centre half) but we are on the right track being led by a bright, progressive, young coach. He's a breath of fresh air too, unlike the dour jock slap-head.

Just been listening to his post match interview and it's great to hear the positivity, yeah it's only been a week and 2 games but when you hear him shouting to Vidigal to keep his head up and score the next chance, it's a breath of fresh air, his enthusiasm is obvious. There will be bad days at the office but let's enjoy days like today as much as we can and hope there's going to be a lot more like them. Gouranga.

8. Signs are promising but green shoots were evident in the early MON, Rowett and Neil days before things went to shit. We do seem a re-energised team but these type of games have often suited us. A side that opens up and leaves us space is what we tend to do well against. Especially when they’re as shite as Brum. Today may have been down to SS but I think it could also have been down to the sheer incompetence of Rooney. They were baddddddd. Rowett won 2 games in his first 7 league games and Neil won 1 in his first 6.

I was referring more to the big away wins both managers produced when we looked fantastic. This does feel different. But I’ve been burned before and Schumacher has a lot to do before I believe he can turn our Titanic around.

Neil had a few good away wins but other than that four match run and away wins at Sunderland and Preston was cancelled out by the usual home defeat. I agree Schumacher has achieved nothing yet but I fail to see what green shoots there ever were with those two. The only manager I would say who improved the clubs performance was O Neil

I refuse to be lulled in easily again. PS I like him and I’ve been impressed so far.

10 for the result
8 overall because we should have conceded more so our defence has to be better.
Happy camper watching that though we gave better than we took and were deserved winners.

Rowett defensively never got it right and I thought Neil was awful appointment so never got carried away. O Neill was the one I got too hopeful with and got let down.
