As I said a personal peeve that we couldn’t clear the first defender previously, clearly it still needs work, and as stated right at the top , I questioned was that particular corner actually under instruction from AH as opposed t on them not being able to kick a ball. Just my thoughts and opinion ….. Sarkic had catching practise for most of the game. There was about 3 in a row that no fucker seemed to want to take. Bae’s was atrocious. About the best was the short corner. Why we kept crossing it in the air today only God knows. The criticism has been that we don't beat the first man. So decision seemed to be to just float them in and as long as we beat the first man it was job done!

No use moaning about the squad because there isn't going to be any major surgery in the January window - a decent keeper and a solid experienced CB and we will only get a striker in if we sell (probably Campbell) so getting the best out of what we've got is the only realistic way forward.
Like others have said I don't think we've seen the best of this squad and there is potential there. Given the situation bringing in a Head Coach is a good decision - it's up to Schumacher and his team to fashion something out of what we've got.
I'm neither surprised nor worried that we didn't make a massive leap forward yesterday and quite happy with the small incremental changes in yesterday's performance - we bossed the game, looked to be trying to take the game to the opposition more and created more chances (all be it pretty low quality chances). I can't see how anyone thinks that was as bad as Neil's final performances, especially teh Sheffield Wednesday game which was truly woeful.

The manager's going to be limited by the squad he's inherited.
When Steve Cooper went into struggling Forest, they obviously had players that were capable, but needed fresh direction.
We haven't.
