Ive heard we are interested in taking these two,I really think TP should take a punt on these . They are just thee type who could do a job and would possibly come.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were chasing Bent.
But I'd guess Huddlestone is way out of range.
Wasn't he linked with a whopping move to Everton a few weeks ago?
And he got in the England squad for the end of season internationals, despite his face not apparently fitting with Ramos at Spurs.

Yeah you're right, don't people realize that Eto'o, Deco and Ronaldinho have all been made available?

Yeah you're right, don't people realize that Eto'o, Deco and Ronaldinho have all been made available? I really don't think Deco and Ronaldinho are Pulis-type players though . Eto'o could probably do a job but how long would it take him to adjust to the pace of the premier league? RoryM

It's not just a matter of being willing to spend though Ponta. Huddlestone isn't going to want to sign for us.
Bent would be a good, realistic addition.

Huddlestone has the best vision (in a football sense...) of any English midfielder imho.
carries too much weight though.
would be a superb signing & of course a highly unlikley one!
Bent would be OK & a more beleivable rumour.

Bent as a goal ratio similar to Mamas

He could play in the Mama role, the workhorse foil for a goalscorer, and present more of a goal threat.

'both wank. '
that maybe so in your humble opinion
but the fact is both are way out of our range, and that should give us an indication of the huge challenge in terms of bringing in decent players within our budget.

Marcus Bent isn't out of our range, surely?

Both would be excellent signings IMO.
Huddlestone would be pricey though and a hefty amount of competition for him, but if we are serious then Tone is gonna have to work 'aarrrd on it (no pun intended).
Bent has proven he can score goals, Im surprised Wigan didn't take him. Dont mention these two to the orange twat at the KC, he will be after them

No chance of Huddlestone whatsover, let's just put that one to bed.

I think young Nathaniel Wedderburn has a similar style to Huddlestone- why sign him when you have an identical player to him lurking in your academy? As for Marcus Bent, I would snap him up- probably get him for £1.5 million (a little bit more than the agreed million with Wigan)

About as much chance of stoke signing huddlestone as there is of Lee Sinnott getting the man united job !
Marcus Bent is a realistic target though and imo would be a decent signing .

Tom Huddlestone is one of the best young midfielders in the top-flight, so I think we can just bin that idea.
Bent would definitely join us I reckon.

Would we really want bent tho? He is abit goal shy like sidibe in my mind.Huddlestone tho would be a superb buy but like crowey cukoo land springs to mind unless tp is willing to splash really big for the lad.
